 It was definitely cute to see. Part of it was probably my pleasure in the fact that I can now control myself in the situation, rather than taking any opportunity that comes along. Of course, next time the chance arises, I don't beleive I'll be doing the same. :)
I’d say you’re in the “friends with potential” zone.
Is that anything like the "friends with benefits" zone? Cause I'd enjoy that too. :P

We had another decently lively conversation on AIM again today. I'm thinking, if I don't hear from her about this DDR get together by Wednesday (or even Tues, is that today? crap, its 5 am...) then I'll just call her up and see if she wants to see Baraka. I sooooo want to share that movie with her. Its sort of become a barometer for me. If they can sit through it, and decently enjoy it, they can't be half bad. Plus, its a very calming and thought provoking movie, which sort of lends itself to cuddling.

I'm not ashamed of picking the right movie to cuddle too. (I may have even taken a girl to see Saving Private Ryan just so she would bury her face in my sholder, and sqeeze my hand during the battles. That is, like, a sin, right? Using WWII to get girls? It felt really wrong...but then again, really right  )

edit: 8th page...wow. I should read through these again...should be interesting.

[kidding] I sure hope I can get some soon (and by get some, I mean at least makin out) cause my get-some-ometer is about to burst, and you never know who'll you'll wake up next to when your get-some-ometer is busted.[/kidding]

I am pretty sure that is how my husband landed me.

Come on, it almost worked in Grease 2 so it can't be a bad strategy!

I have to disagree, anything used in Grease 2 is a bad strategy.

Ok, I have no clue what you people are talking about, since I didn't see Grease 2.

Anyways, we had some fun innuendo. I think we're getting more comfortable with eachother. I can't wait to see if something comes next. (or if we come next :P I'm so bad!)
Her (10:13:48 PM): oh, s**t
Me : ??
Her: my bed broke and I forgot to tell my dad about it
Her: and he's going to be away for a few days. hmmmmm
Me : Should I ask how you broke your bed?
Her: hahahahahahahahaha
Her: I didn't reallize how incriminating that sounded
Her: but, like, it's old, and it was breaking, and I just sat on it this morning and it broke
Me : incriminating or lots of fun, depending on your perspective
Her: plus all that wild sex I was having on it
Me : hmm
Her: (kidding....unfortunately.)
Me : in your parents house though?
Me : :P
Her: yeah, that would be really really creepy
Her: I've never even kissed a boy in this house
Me : especially if you want your dad to fix it
Her: hahahah, yeah
Me : Never kissed "a boy" in the house either though...thats kinda interesting..
Her: ah, no girls either.
Her: not in my house anyway :-)
Me : ?
Her: huh?
Me : nevermind :-)
Me : Darn, I hate thinking of a good comeback 5 minutes too late. ;-)
Her: what, tell me??
Me : "(kidding....unfortunately.)" Well, all you gotta do is ask. :P
Her: hehehehhehee
Her: I'm trained in the cinerom school of sexual innuendo
Me : maybe not so good, but whatever :-)
Me : he he
Her: it was clever, don't worry :-)
Her: but I must be shipping off
Me : k
That was fun.

In Grease 2, one of the T-Birds tries to convince his Pink Lady girlfriend to have sex with him in a bomb shelter.
America is calling, let's care enough to give our very best.
For if we give our very best,
I know that we will more than pass the test.
If I could have three wishes, I'd wish that you'd live free,
I'd wish for amber waves of grain from sea to shining sea.

Yeah, let's do it for our country, the red, white, and the blue.
It's Uncle Sam who's asking, so your mother will approve.
Tomorrow I'll be fighting, and I'll win this war for you.
Let's do it for our country, our country wants us to.

Bullets are exploding, they'll soon be at the door,
Give something to America you never gave before.
Yeah, let's do it for our country, the red, white, and the blue,
If the President were standin' here, I'm sure he would approve.
I'll be a mighty soldier before this night is through.
Let's do it for our country, our country wants us to.

Just think about it -- it would be like as if we were doing it for the Statue of Liberty, or the Grand Canyon, or the New York Yankees... it would be like as if we were doing it for... Disneyland!

Yeah, let's do it for our country, the red, white, and the blue,
It's not a lot to ask of us, our parents will approve.
Tomorrow I'll be fighting, and I'll win this war for you.
Let's do it for our country, we owe it to our country.
Let's do it for our country, our country wants us to.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! MY DAY HAVE COME!!!!!!!! How did I almost miss a GREASE 2 discussion??? I am GREASE 2's biggest fan. Nevermind the flat singing and re-hashing of the original GREASE story. It has some amazing moments like the talent show or when the Christmas tree topper flies off Stephanie's head into the audience. I LOVE the teacher who just got out of the asylum. And think about the people in it who became big stars: Michele Pfeiffer, Chris McDonald, Maxwell Caufield (GREASE 2 is my 2nd fave role for him. I still love Rex Manning in EMPIRE RECORDS.) What a great movie. I will not have anyone criticizing it!!!!!

"Don't you think that's kinda weird? Not weird weird, but like, exciting weird?"

"Oh my god! I am going to die and I'm wearing my mother's underwear!"

Yeah, I like this movie. Good, mindless fun.

And now I need to see the lyrics to Cool Rider and the rider-going-to-Biker-Heaven song. "Tu-urn back! Tu-urn back! The hands of time will tu-urn baaack!"

"Stephanie! Please don't cry!"

"Oh, it's so unfair. Just when I found you, I lost you!"

"That doesn't matter now. The only thing that matters is that I Love You. And you're the only one who can keep our love alive! So, Stephanie, don't forget me!"

"I promise."

Er, ok. Sorry 'bout that.

She's been going through the growing pains of being back, and friends changing. So far she hasn't confided in me to tell me about that, but her journal was pretty apparent (although the entry is now deleted)

So I wanted to make her a happy pick-me-up CD.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of the tracklist:

Heather Small - Proud
Johnny Clegg & Savuka - Rolling Ocean
Ryan Adams - New York, New York
Melissa Etheridge - All American Girl
Tom Cochrane - Life Is a Highway
Indigo Girls - Tangled Up In Blue
Blue Man Group - I Feel Love (Feat Venus Hum)
Ann Peebles - I Can't Stand the Rain
Basement Jaxx - Do Your Thing
Sarah Mclachlan - Solsbury Hill
Grosse Pointe Blank - I Can See Clearly By Johnny Nash
The Beatles - Lady Madonna
Rusted Root - Martyr
Fleetwood Mac - Never Going Back Again
The Tokens - The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Elton John - Birds
Bob Seger - Hollywood Nights
Indigo Girls - Closer To Fine
Ben E. King & Drifters - Save the Last Dance For Me

Lemme know your thoughts. :D

I believe it is called "My Charade." That is probably the best scene and song in the entire movie!!!!!

The song with the dialogue that Megs refers to is (Love Will) Turn Back the Hands of Time:
Stephanie:
No more midnight rides with you
No more secret rendezvous.
I'm gonna miss all the things we'll never do.
I just can't believe you left me here alone,
How in this world can I make it on my own?
Michael:
Remember, I love you, I won't be far away.
Baby, close your eyes and think of yesterday,
And we'll be there together.
Love will turn back the hands of time.
Whoa oh, turn back
Whoa oh, turn back the hands of time.
Stephanie:
Whoa oh
Baby, don't you know it's hard to let you go?
Michael:
Save all your dreams and keep me in your heart.
Stephanie:
It hurts to say goodbye, no matter how I try.
Michael:
Love will survive even though we have to part.
Michael (spoken):
Stephanie, please don't cry.
Stephanie (spoken):
Oh, it all seems so unfair. Just when I found you I lost you.
Michael (spoken):
That doesn't matter now.
The only thing that matters is the time we had together.
Stephanie (spoken):
But, I don't even know your name!
Michael (spoken):
The only thing you have to know is that I love you.
And you're the only one who can keep our love alive!
So Stephanie, don't forget me!
Stephanie (spoken):
I promise.
Michael:
Remember, I love you, you won't be far away.
Stephanie:
I just close my eyes and bring back yesterday.
And we'll be there together.
Love will turn back the hands of time.
Whoa oh, turn back
Whoa oh, turn back the hands of time.
We'll turn back,
Whoa oh, turn back
Whoa oh, turn back the hands of time.
We'll turn back,
Whoa oh, turn back
Whoa oh, turn back the hands of time.
We'll turn back!
The song Charades is earlier in the movie:
I'm all dressed up in my finest attitude
Pretending I don't care.
Guess I really messed up by trying to be two,
When only one heart can be there.
Why can't I be just what I am,
And speak my love without any shame?
Why can't she see what I am,
Is a costumed fool trapped in a tragic game?
Charades and pretty lies
They hide what's deep inside me.
Charades do disguise
All the love I keep inside me.
Charades! Can't see me,
But can you feel the real me,
The real me behind my charades?
Oh, please don't mind me,
Performing at my hardest
As I paint upon the air.
You won't find me
Cause it's a portrait of the artist
As a man who isn't there.
(Chorus)
Can't you feel the real me,
Behind my charades?
Have I lost the real me,
Behind my charades?

Thank you for the correction. I was trying to do it from memory. Maybe I should do my research.
