Thanks guys! I'm having a good day so far: doughnuts at work, presents last night, drinks tonight, dinner thursday...

Mr. S took me to see Jerry Springer The Opera on saturday - and I have to say, if you EVER have the chance to see this, go. It really is the most fantastic show I have ever seen. You have to suspend your 'offended by crude language' genes but it is worth every moment. If you can manage getting your head round operatic choruses of 'crack whore' and worse, it's a very very clever parody of Jerry Springer the show.

I am of course also having the 'blimey, 27. what have I achieved?' moments but they are fleeting... :D 8)

Hah! I love it, wicked!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes... I had a fabulous day, which ended with me stumbling home in a sorry drunken state. I really didn't have that much to drink but since I've cut down so much due to studying, I've become a real lightweight  It's a good thing, I think. But it's very embarrassing when one tries to drink what would have usually been a relatively easy nights-worth, and it results in a near-vomit experience. I was so convinced I was past all that!

Only thing is, no DVDs to add to my collection this year :( I'll have to get the hinting tactics refined for christmas!

Awww,

I find printed lists placed on chairs seems to help in that regard.

When I was little I used to get a little birthday party with the family after Thanksgiving dinner, because my birthday is only two weeks later. Once in a while I would get presents for my birthday on Christmas, which I hated, but that hasn't happened in a long time.

Happy Sagitarius!

Yeah, the open magazine with the corner turned down is the trick I'd used - too subtle for Mr. S though. Lists.....yeah. or maybe a message scrawled in black marker pen across one of his work shirts
get me the lotr rotk DVD extended edition

I do have reason to believe that I may be getting an ipod mini this year though.... he starts hyperventilating at the mention of them.

Basically, I'm spoiled already and I have nothing to complain about at all. 8)

You mean all men don't usually start hyperventilating at the mention of iPods??? Just kidding. My boyfriend would love one, but I don't have $400. Be careful --- I hear they are rather fragile for being a portable device! But wow, that would still be an awesome gift.

Hee, these are all good tricks! I once cut out a picture of something I wanted and taped it to my boyfriend's cup. It worked!
