A small sofa and arm chair (the Lillberg series if you are an Ikea aficionado), not the cutest or most comfortable in the world, but cheap, and most importantly, able to fit through my narrow 1900's doorways. Suddenly having actual furniture makes my living room seem a lot smaller! My next project is to sew some slip covers...

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, and I'll totally be there with you at the support group Nothingman!

Happy Birthday Erme!

I didn't read the bilaws, but candygirl mentioned that home ownership might disqualify me. I'm hoping if I make fahitas and margaritas at the next meeting all will be forgiven.

fahitas and margheritas ought to get you a special, elevated membership  but only if you show Jody your fence.......

Who am I kidding? I'm too old to be in the 24 club

That was me, but if you throw in some homemade guacamole, I think you've got yourself a deal. I can't handle anymore of Nostradamus' spiked punch

Oops, sorry for the confusion, shoutbox messed me up. And of course there'll be homemade guac. And the cool thing about fahitas is the cheese doesn't melt.

 Yeah, that's my friend's favorite thing to make fun of me about. In restaurants when ordering quesadillas I always specify that I want a limited amount of cheese (too much queso, and a wonderfully crisp and perfect food becomes chewy and unsatisfying). She loves to share this about me whenever we're with new people. Laughing, she says something like, "It would be one thing if what you are ordering is not a cheese dish -- but a quesadilla -- that's queso -- cheese -- with no cheese you're just ordering a grilled tortilla!" Then she laughs some more.
