What song was #1 the day you were born?

This site has compiled all the Billboard #1 lists so that you can see what song was #1 on any given day. In honor of my birthday, I thought I'd see what song was #1 on the day fellow MSCLers were born!

Have You Never Been Mellow by Olivia Newton-John was #1 the day I was born. My mom had this album and I loved listening to it as a kid.

To Be With You by Mr. Big was #1 on my birthday my senior year of high school - that song is awesome!

Heh, since you were born almost exactly nine months before me, I now know the song that was probably #1 when I was conceived :-)

"Fly, Robin, Fly" by Silver Convention was #1 in the US on my birthday... Okay, I'm drawing a complete blank. "Silver Convention" rings a bell ("Get Up and Boogie"), but "Fly, Robin, Fly"!? Let's see who was #1 in Germany at that time ... ah, yes, I know that one: "Lady Bump" by Penny McLean. I missed "SOS" by ABBA only by a few days.

The day MSCL premiered on TV: "I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz II Men
The day the last episode aired:"Creep" by TLC
The day it was officially cancelled: "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan

"You Light Up My Life" by Debby Boone - never heard of it, or her... but it is the USA Billboard.

[research hat icon]

In the UK, it was Abba - "The Name of the Game". Man, I hate Abba. :(

Man, I must be getting old, I remember "Hey Mickey" and "Jump". Both are cool songs. Now to really date myself. I remember "You light up my life". When I was a little kid, my Mom loved that song, she played it all the time.

Since the original link is longer working, here's an updated link to the Billboard 100 Archives:
