oh and for singing at a weeding ehre a great traditional celtic ballad...
called
The Water is wide"
The water is wide, I can't cross over
and neither I have wings to fly
give me a boat that can carry two
and both shall row - my love and I

Now love is gentle, and love is kind
the sweetest flower when first it's new
but love grows old, and waxes cold
and fades away like morning dew

There is a ship, she sails the sea
she's loaded deep as deep can be
but not as deep as the love I'm in
I know not how I sink or swim

The water is wide, I can't cross over
and neither I have wings to fly
give me a boat that can carry two
and both shall row - my love and I
and both shall row - my love and I

I ended up composing a song for my cousin & her fiance. It's just a sweet little pop/folksy song, about 3 mins long. I'll accompany myself on guitar. I also make a super long awesome list of songs for the reception - I'm going to keep that list for every party I ever throw! I can post some of them later...

"Good For Me" by Above & Beyond

Conveniently available in multiple versions, ranging from orchestral ballad:

to progressive trance:

I just saw them in concert on Broadway. This song brought down the house, aided by an actual proposal in the balcony. (She said yes!)
