As for old school rap, I can't believe no one mentioned "Fight for Your Right (to Party)" by the Beastie Boys. That was one song that I loved jamming to back in the day.

My major contribution would be "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. Once voted by Spin magazine to be the top single of the last 25 years (c. 1989 or 1990).

In a slightly more serious vein, no Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five? "White Lines"? "The Message"?

Or, even for the crossover appeal, "Rapture" by Blondie?

Public Enemy -- "Don't Believe the Hype" or "Bring the Noise"?

STARBUG The song you wrote about is called 'Just be good to me' by a Britsh group (I think) called Beats International. I don't know if you wanted to know that,but Ijustlove that song so much I thought I'd let you know. And I also love 'Keep On Movin' by Soul 2 Soul.
