To be honest I dont even think I was alive when they were a group? Well anyway I do like Def Leppard... there cool and some of there music is good to... I guess I thought people would be offended that I like Mariah Carey not even thinking about def leppard... and def leppard is so cool they actually defended Mariah when she did the cover... they said it was such a compliment to have someone put there song out there again after such a long time... most people didnt even give her a chance and they did!!! really sweet!!!

I'm not much older than you but I still feel really old now. Maybe I should go dust off my vinyls of Def Leppard and sob uncontrollably over my upcoming birthday.

I didnt mean to make you feel old... how do you think I feel when people ask me about duran duran and pink floyd? I mean I have heard there stuff before but I have to be like who are you talking about? I mean it the age arrow goes both ways... sometimes I feel stupid when 18 and 19 year olds ask me about groups that were around in the 80's and im like who... and there like are you serious...

This really should be considered blasphemy.
"Bringin' On the Heartbreak" is most certainly one of the best Def Leppard songs out there.
Of the cover songs I can think of:
- * Guns N' Roses - "It's Alright": Originally by Black Sabbath and, as far as I know, only done live with Axl Rose on piano. I get goosebumps when I hear it.
* The Street Dogs - The Pilgrim:Chapter 33: Originally by Kris Kristofferson. Punk (hard rock, really) covering a country music song, and not even sounding country.
* U2 - Everlasting Love (Originally by Robert Knight?)
* Metallica - Astronomy (Originally by Blue Oyster Cult): Many, many Metallica covers, but this one stands out among the others on the new disc on Garage, Inc.
* 1000 Homo DJs - Supernaut (Originally by Black Sabbath)
* Lard - They're Coming to Take Me Away (Originally by Napoleon XIV)
Too many to list, and I don't know if the above are truly my favorite. Just a taste.
