If you’ve ever dreamed of riding Helltrack, doing a backflip, or beating Bart Taylor, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. If not, you’re normal, don’t worry.
This was my favorite movie when I was a kid, and has become a bmx cult classic. It hasn’t yet reached DVD, and there is petition here.

I’ve been downloading songs from the out of print soundtrack this morning, for some reason it just popped into my head today. My dad recorded it off of HBO when I was little and I’m guessing I’ve watched it at least 50 times, maybe more. It’s recorded in SLP and is slowly dying, but the vhs is no longer available to buy, and it’s part of it’s charm anyway. The movie was reedited to make it easier to understand to non-bmxers, so I’m hoping if it makes it to dvd then some of those scenes will be added as bonus material. Assuming they still exist.
Here is a great site describing different tid bits of the movie.

Did anyone else see this movie or have I underestimated my geekiness?
