OT: What other shows... on DVD

MSCL may be gone from the tv screen, but there are lots of good (and bad) new productions airing each week. Talk with other MSCL fans about your favorite shows or the shows you hate. Of course you can also discuss TV show DVD releases here.

Nostradamus, I'm glad I could help. You might want to also tell your friend, the HL fan, that a fifth movie, HL: The Source is in the works and is already being promoted through the 2003 HL catalog. The movie will deal with four new Immortals and their search for the origin of the Immortals. After HL: Endgame, I don't think I'll be holding my breath for this one, but I'm still hoping against hope that somehow the movie turns out good.

I don't wanna be a downer but I wouldn't hold my breath either... I've always had trouble with anything HL than the orginal. The movies are a joke... The series: how do you watch a series where you know the main character has to die? I know they most likely had some plot device to get by that, but is it really any better than Mario suddenly being unearthed and Conner being cast back as an immortal???

Nope, sorry... for me "There can be only One!" and thats the original movie!

Thanks again, NIGHTJESSI and Mike.

BTW, my friend more or less agrees with your predictions and theorizes that Highlander is similar to Star Trek, in that only every other movie is worth seeing.

Yup, it's amazing that these shows don't get DVD'd sooner. Give it time, I guess...

Northern Exposure seems to be the one show (besides Wonder Years) that everyone wants released. I really hope they do eventually. It was definitely one of the best shows on TV.
