Andy Richter Controls the Universe

While nothing official has come out of Paramount at the moment, Andy Richter, former sidekick of Conan O'Brien, is optimistc that a DVD set will be released of his short lived, critically acclaimed (and emmy nominated) FOX comedy series, Andy Richter Controls the Universe.

Andy Richter told Aaron Barnhart of TV Barn.com:
“So far, Paramount is dragging its heels,” he said. “But you know, my wife had a recurring role on a show called ‘Strangers with Candy’ on Comedy Central. That wasn’t a big show, either. Mostly it was watched by TV critics and people who sell shoes at Barneys. And that’s big on DVD.”

Andy is optimistic and so am I. ARCTU was easily my favorite show of 2002-2003, and even received an A rating from Entertainment Weekly. This show would make a great addition to the TV on DVD family.
