MSCL may be gone from the tv screen, but there are lots of good (and bad) new productions airing each week. Talk with other MSCL fans about your favorite shows or the shows you hate. Of course you can also discuss TV show DVD releases here.

For what its worth I'd vote for ya. Not that living in Ohio affords me such a privilege. Will Fnordboy be your lieutenant govenor? Mglenn your attorney general, Candygirl state treasurer...
Well, thank you lance. I appreciate your vote.

As for where you live, I wouldn't worry about it. If a porn star can run for office, I don't think voting outside of the state will be too much of a problem. LOL!

As for my cabinet... I like your thinking. What are you doing the next four years lance? :D

I don't want to handle it - I just want to spend it!

I am feeling slighted, as I wasn't asked to be a part of Gary's cabinet. :(

Your role was larger than everyone elses actually. You were to be the "intern". :P

Aw Megs, of course you can be a part of my cabinet. Any position you have in mind?

In light of fnordboy's recent comments (sick bastard :-P), I think I should phrase that differently...

Is there any job title you wish to have?

:D

Gary
:P Well, not "intern", as fnordboy suggested. How about you give me a position, er, job title that you see fit for me?

Can I be the Special Assistant to the Assistant of the Executive of Internal Affairs of the Embassy of Tahiti?

Oh, and one more question. Do surfboards count as office supplies?

From the Oakland Tribune:
Who says the recall election is bad for California business?

The bar at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C.'s swank Georgetown section now serves a cocktail called the "Total Recall" using Hangar One vodka, produced by St. George Spirits of Alameda.

St. George assistant distiller and partner Lance Winters, who helps produce the company's potent potables near Alameda Point, said it's nice that someone's making lemonade from the Golden State's lemons.

"But if you're serving it in California, it doesn't matter what you make it with because people are going to say it's not what they wanted. If they say that, we'll give them another drink but charge them $67 million," he quipped in reference to the recall election's cost. Anyway, he said, "most of the cocktails we make are designed to prevent recall -- of anything."

Apparently California's gubernatorial fracas is on everyone's lips, so to speak, in the nation's capital, with Republican candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger -- star of the 1990 sci-fi hit, "Total Recall" -- a hot topic of bar-room discourse.

A Ritz-Carlton news release says the Total Recall is "a bipartisan drink made with conservative ingredients and a liberal pour."

Conceived by Michael Brown, bartender at the Ritz-Carlton's Degrees bar, it includes three parts Hangar One vodka, two parts Chambord -- "French are back in style," the release says -- two parts fresh-squeezed Florida orange juice "in memory of the Florida presidential election," a dash of ginger ale and a dash of cranberry juice. Stir with ice, strain and serve, Martini-style.

Bottoms up, California.

Well, now that they made a drink named after a Ahnold movie I guess I can now turn you all on to a very special band:

ArnoCorps - http://www.arnocorps.com/index.html

Songs sung in the key of Ahnold. :)

I first heard of this band a while back and am sure they will be the next big thing once Ahnold takes office. Such great songs as:

Total Recall
End of Days
Commando
Terminator

Enjoy the MP3s ;)

An American fast food chain is trying to get a head start on the California recall election results by urging Mexican food fans to eat an Arnie. Taco Bell bosses have renamed their beef tacos The Arnie and their chicken tacos The Gray Davis in a bid to see whether Arnold Schwarzenegger's bid for Governor - a post currently held by Davis - will be successful. The results from more than 1,000 California fast food restaurants will be posted on Taco Bell's website every Tuesday.
