Graham makes a bisque for the potential restaurant investors in the final episode.

Did he? I don't remember that...I was going for when Hallie says Brad is fatoozed about whether her gown should be ivory or bisque...not that I remember exactly...

Who's got the next word?

Thanks, NoTom! I figured that was it, but it's nice to have some confirmation. Very clever clue! As for "Bisque" - that had me going for a while as well. I kept assuming that it came from an episode where Grant was cooking something or was in cooking class. Nope! I finally found it, though. He and Hallie are talking outside of their potential restaurant in "Resolutions". Hallie tells him that her fiance Brad doesn't know if Hallie's dress should be "ivory or bisque." I love it when you search and search and can't find one of these word clues. Then, when you're not looking, there it is! Nice one.

I'm going to cop out and give Cami her due for the next clue. So I'm just RE-proposing it.

"Sliding downhill"

Brunkster, I was hoping that would be a tricky one! It's just that when you know the answer it seems so obvious!

Sliding downhill...NO IDEA! To the DVD"s!

I wasn't sure of my answer. Thanks for the correction.

I guess bisque could be considered an off-white color that indicates that a woman getting married is not a virgin.

Having an off white dress is not really an indicator of virginity. The standard bridal white is called diamond white because it's really REALLY bright white. A lot of women prefer to have something that's not quite as bright, so the bridal industry is full of white-ish colors like ivory, bisque, antique white, eggshell, etc. Most of these colors are still white to the eye, just not blindingly white.

I had an off white dress because my ceremony was outside and I didn't want people squinting because they were so blinded by a white dress in sunlight. The dress looks white in all the pictures though. You usually can't tell that a lot of wedding dresses are shades of off white.

Ahem, as you were.

I had an outdoor ceremony too, and my dress was "champagne." I was 100% sure I wanted WHITE until I tried some on! Really white is not for everyone!!! :D

Thank you for educating me on off-white colors and weddings. Maybe I won't roll my eyes as much as I would have being a manly man if/when the topic comes up in the future. Also, I have a greater appreciation for the show. I never thought to look up the meanings for bisque until now.

I didn't mean to be sarcastic. I truly did not remember the line about bisque in the show or know that bisque is a color. The fact that the writers used bisque in its proper context is kind of neat. I also found the explanations from Candygirl and you to be enlightening.

Aahhh, ok- my bad then! That's the thing with email/texting etc, you can never really be sure of someone's tone! That's why I use an "!" at the end of almost every sentence, lol!

I promise to be less sensitive from now on!

Tish,

No. "sliding downhill" is not from the conversation about Delia's dream.

Hint: The conversation that contains it does take place at Liberty High.

I got it! Ms. Lerner tells Mr. Katimsky in "Self-Esteem" that too many of her students are sliding downhill!

I think Tish threw out the next word: PAINT
