On this website, in the Angela's World section, it mentions that the Chase's cat is never shown on the show... but I don't remember it ever being mentioned when I watched the series. Does anyone know when their cat was mentioned?

In The Substitute, Graham says, "I remembered to buy kitty litter," and in Pressure, Patty tells Graham, "You always buy the cat nicer food than I do."

Apparently the good food wasn't enough to entice the cat to make an appearance. It must have been hanging out with Tino.

I know this will sound lame but I always saw the Chase cat as striped roange tabby cat. What kind of cat did you see as the Chases?

Yeah, I don't know why, but now that you mention it a carpet-tiger tabby seems right! Perhaps it matches the Chase family's karma. Then again, I have an orange striped tabby as well, so I could be biased.

I always pictured one of those tiny black cats with a white belly and a bit of white on it's head and paws. I think it's because in my experience those cats are the skittish ones that stay out of sight as much as possible.

I can see how that type of cat 'fits' with the Chases. I think I always imagined that the cat was out of sync with the family and that's part of why its never around. Or maybe it's one of those old fat cats that sit in the same spot all day long and that spot just happens to be out of view of the audience.

They probably had a cat. But it may have been staying in Danielle's room all the time. I don't know!

Does anyone recall which episode that scene is in?

I cannot say what kind of cat lived in the Chase’s home, but I’m confident that it must have been very, very judgmental.
