I read that MSCL actually first aired in 1993. Is this true? I can remember the commercials stating that it was starting to air in the summer, but I can't recall which year. Did they air 1 episode in 1993, then hold off and then continue to air episodes in 1994? I'm just curious. Thanx!

Nope, they shot Episode 1 in March 1993, but ABC didn't find a slot in their '93 fall lineup, so they didn't air that episode in 1993. They waited till February 1994 to shoot the 2nd episode. All episodes premiered in August 1994 and the following months.

There was also a break in shooting between April and September 1994 - ABC originally ordered only 9 episodes (plus the pilot). They later ordered six more and then another three.

In my humble opinion it looked more like episodes 1 AND 2 were shot close together, because if you look closely Angela's hair is a much brighter "red" color in episodes 1 and 2, by episode 3 it's a much darker red (yes, I know it's not REALLY red, but supposed to be crimson glow). Also in episodes 1 and 2, her backpack is this muli-colored one and then by episode 3, she has that red Jansport backpack.

But, then again, and this always bugged me, Jordon's hair is significantly longer in episode 2 than it was in episode 1 due to the time frame between episode 1 and 2.

And Danielle has suddenly grown quite a bit between episode 1 and 2...
