MSCL and My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Did anyone else hear the music in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and immediately think of MSCL? Not the Greek stuff, duh, but the score, particularly in the scenes between Tula and Ian. Sounds exactly like MSCL. I looked at the credits, but I didn't see any MSCL connection. Anyone know anything about this?
