Sorry to hear you are marooned in the Raider Nation, LanceMan. I know sports fans are supposed to be enthusiastic, but those guys are... jeebus!

I've only been loosely following the preseason; still waiting to see if Denver can pull another star RB out of their helmets. At least Barrel Man is back in action.

Yeah,

I haven't heard much about Denver yet, good or bad.

I was extremely impressed by the Bengals last weekend:

Bengals 31, Supebowl Champs Patriots, 3

I know its still the preseason but...

Ouch.

Right on. I'm kinda rooting for the Bengals too, if only for the sheer underdog turnaround factor. Now if Detroit could do something, we'd have the makings of a pretty interesting season...

Denver and Detroit won, Cincy lost. Quentin Griffen had better numbers than Clinton Portis, so there's no problems at RB. Champ Bailey seems to be working out well, though it's still early to judge the revamped defence...

Next up, Jacksonville.

Bummer about Cincy and Dallas btw. My brother's Eagles won. Apparently Terrl Owens was late to the game. A police officer spottted him and gave him an escort to the stadium.

:D

Sunday night on ESPN will be the Bengals vs the Dolphins, that should be good.

Monday night will be the Eagles vs the Vikings, another good game.

Some decent games yesterday.

Dallas won, wasn't pretty but a wins a win. I saw the Bengals outlast the Dolphins last night, major defensive slugfest. As I typed this the Eagles lead the Vikings.

Detroit is 2 and 0.

And how about the Bears over the Packers? Wow. More good football to come.

Denver has an early lead in the AFC West, but someone needs to put crazy glue on Quentin Griffin's hands.

D'oh! I am generally neutral with regards to Denver but for you I will keep my fingers crossed that they make a strong showing this year.

As I side note I am currently watching the Texans beat the Raiders.

:D

Apologies to any Raiders fans on the forum.

Thanks; it may have helped. They just pulled off a narrow victory in Tampa. No turnovers!

Hey, I'm with ya there - former Houston man myself.

Kansas City just beat Baltimore.

To bad for Baltimore, but Kansas City is no longer winless.

What a Sunday!

I saw the total self destruction of the Cowboys and Seahawks.

Gak!

Way to play St. Louis. Also kudos to Houston for nearly toppling the Vikings.

Another Sunday down.

Man do the Patriots look scary. Saw a bit of the Cowboys/Steelers game, apparently the Raiders were getting wiped out so we actually got to see another game.

Tis strange to see Denver as a primarily defensive team, but Reuben Droughns is starting to put momentum back into the running game. Their AFC West rivals have been unusually soft this year, so they may well take the division, but they'll have to turn it up a notch if they expect to last long in the playoffs.
