Why are the forums so slow these days?

As the forum title implies: This is the forum for "anything else" which doesn't fit into one of the other forums.

Netflix baby - you will forget all about Blockbuster once you get movies delivered to your door!

Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer.
You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"?

"In the area" = in town, or close by (within a fifteen minute drive).

LOL! At least you have the Bell. I know I'd go loopy if I couldn't get a cheeseburger meal every once in a while, but that's just me. :D

I have been shirking my duties as a forum member b/c I lost my job back in Feb. and have not been at a computer on a daily basis since then. It has been almost 4 months since I have worked (no sympathy really; I hated the place) and without access to a computer it is kinda hard to post. Once in a while I visit the parents and get on my Mom's outdated-piece-o-s**t computer and post when I can. I really do miss checking out the forum each morning and taking in all the posts.
Megs, congrats on the house! How exciting for you and Mr. Megs! And for the record.....fnordboy scared me to death even before his latest avatar!

K-Man,

Occassionally life interferes with more important matters, like posting here at the forum

Yeah, Lance, I feel you. I used to waitress, and in the middle of the night I would bolt up from a nightmare, thinking that I had forgotten to get something for one of my tables. It was crazy! I had to remind myself that I was in bed and not waitressing.
