Other good forums

Post by RyeBlume » Jan 5th 2003, 5:13 pm

I write a lot of poetry and fiction, and I would love to discover a really great forum where I could share my work and read the work of others.
I've found that good forums like this one are hard to come by sometimes. If any of you know of anything worthwhile, please share!

RyeBlume,

Hi. I have absolutely totatly no clue on this one. But... I am an assistant librarian so let me go check with the humble folks in Literature and Languages Department and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I frequent the televisionwithoutpity.com boards and website, and I remember seeing some websites mention there regarding online journals and the like. Maybe you can try there.

I love TWOP! I could spend all day there just reading all the recaps and the forums. Sadly, I have a job which requires me to work so I can't spend ALL day there

Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer.

Yeah. I split my work day between TWoP and MSCL.

Does anyone know if Twop is currently offline? I haven't been able to view it in days(2) and am wondering if it is just me. I know they were having some problems but so has my computer so that's no clue for me. On the

ETA: it was them and not my computer.

I'm not sure. I haven't visited TWOP much lately. Actually not much since they stopped recapping ER.

DRtv is an excellent site to read fan fics. Most of their shows are soap fanfics but they have a MSCL and a few original ones.

I just wanted to second Rick on the recommendation for DRtv.

It's an excellent site. There are lots of good fanfiction stories written for other shows, soaps, as well as some original works.
And the feedback there is enormously awesome!!!
I have begun posting my fanfic--Between Names--there, and ikilledkennyandjr is posting her's--Staring Down The Sun--as well.
Rick's MSCL: Return to Three RIvers is an excellent fic, too.

Lots of great stuff to explore at DRtv, so check it out. I urge you!

Hi, guys!
I'd like to encourage you all to visit DRtv--a fanfiction and original soap opera message board. There you can find 3 amazing MSCL fics, and maybe even post your own. There's also other fics for soaps like All My Children, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless etc...and some truly wonderful original series!

Here's the link:

And a promotional video I made for the site:

I apologize in advance if I posted this in the incorrect forum.
Admin, if you have a problem, please let me know and move the post for me!
Thanks!

Hope to see you at DRtv soon!
