my weird score= 113 13% are more weird, 5% just as weird, and 83% less weird

loser score= 11% more cool, 89% more loser

so I guess weird is in! if you're weird, you're not a loser. well, according to this quiz anyway. must be a glitch somewhere... :?

This is the website for Marc Horowitz who became famous because of a Crate & Barrel catalog last year. He wrote "Dinner with Marc" and his phone number on a white board that appeared in the catalog and has been getting tons of phone calls ever since. He decided to drive around the country and have dinner with the people who have been leaving him messages. He has a blog documenting the latest leg of his National Dinner Tour.

The concept reminds me of Danny Wallace's Join Me.

I swear I thought I had posted about this before, but obviously since I say that quite frequently, the mind is the first thing to go!

Yeah it's fun to find one of those marked bills. I'll have to dig up my registration and see if mine ever turned up again...

Fascinating! But how does it work?

AFAIK it's based on amazon.com's webservices. They offer APIs for programmers to write their own applications while using Amazon's databases. Usually it's used for shopping websites, but this example shows that one can use this also for fun.

Another interesting thing I found on the web (completely unrelated to the above):
Which religion is the right one for you?

Here's my result:
You scored as agnosticism.

agnosticism 75%
atheism 67%
Satanism 67%
Buddhism 63%
Islam 42%
Judaism 42%
Paganism 38%
Hinduism 29%
Christianity 21%
Whoa, Satanism 67% ... uh-oh....

Makes sense for me, being raised Roman Catholic - I'm not surprised by the outcome here! Satanism is a little higher on the list than I would have thought, maybe, but they have beer & cable tv in hell, so that's not so bad.

This was an interesting quiz.... but it might be a bit off (at least for me)! While taking it I thought Christianity would be at the top of the list. hmmmm....

Islam 67%
Judaism 63%
Christianity 46%
Buddhism 38%
Hinduism 17%
Paganism 17%
Satanism 8%
agnosticism 0%
atheism 0%

People create postcards and write secrets that they have never told anyone. Then they send the postcards in and they are posted at this website. Funny, tragic, and everything in between:

that site is really interesting. at first I thought it was kind of weird reading these private thoughts. but in a way, it's therapuetic, realizing that no matter how devastating or trivial, we all have something we are ashamed of. it's all relative.
