I don't mind being single on Valentines day at all. In fact it's preferred. I don't have to spend any money or think of anything original to do. And then I'll go downtown and find some girl who's lonely and needs my company. What's not to like?

Excellent point Nothingman, I hadn't thought of the vulnerability factor. I might change my opinion of Valentine's day, from ambivalent to somewhat favourable.

In my earlier post, I didn't mean to sound cynical exactly - I just think that having one romantic day a year is not enough. And you should do romantic things for your partner year round, and if you don't Valentine's day seems like such a cop out, or 'get out of jail free' card or something. I certainly celebrate valentine's day, if only mildly. Even on the v-days where I've been single. I like to be a valentine for lots of people, like my parents and friends. Even when I have a boyfriend on v-day! Why not?

But yeah, I think valentine's is a little bogus, too. People should do nice romantic things for the people they love any time! Not because Hallmark decided on Feb. 14.
try this: http://www.meish.org/vd/

it's really funny, especially if you feel that valentine's day is lame.

Mine was 88. Not bad, but the women in my family have a history of living into thier 90s. I'm going to take a few of the other tests!

I'm going to die at 79, I like 80 because it's a nice round number, but 79 is ok.

My NERD score: 4 (definitely not nerdy, you are probably cool)

My WEIRD score: 96
Of all the weird test takers:
50% are more weird,
11% are just as weird, and
39% are more normal than you!
I'm not sure how reasuring that is.

My LOSER score: 16 (definitely not a loser, you're cool by us)

My SPOILED score: (You seem to be a little spoiled. It would not hurt you to buy something for yourself, just so that you could spoil yourself. Feel proud of the fact that you got yourself where you are by mostly your own effort (even if it is a cardboard box!)

AHH! I actually answered them truthfully too
Moltar- Well hey, Thom asked me if he could see my knife, and Thom's doing a song about knife, and he wanted to see what one looked like. Isn't that right Thom? (Pulls out knife again)
Space Goast- (Turns to Thom Yorke) Is that right?
Thom- ...No.
Space Goast- Cuz it sounds like a good idea... so do it.

my nerd score is 28: 72% scored higher (more nerdy), and 28% scored lower (less nerdy).
Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

weird quotient: Your score is: 86 Of all the weird test takers: 82% are more weird, 8% are just as weird, and 10% are more normal than you!

Loser score: 52% are cooler, and 48% are more of a loser than you.
With this score, you are a normal individual

Spoiled Brat? 20. Spoiled is not even in your dictionary. We feel sorry that you have lived such a deprived life. Do yourself a favor and buy something for yourself, RIGHT NOW! Don't delay! Overall, you scored as follows: 91% are more spoiled, 2% are just as spoiled, and 7% are more deprived than you!
