So, following on from the latest post in the desert island discs thread, how old are we all?

I'd just like to know, average age of MSCL fans and whether this tallies with first airing etc...

I think (although I'm not entirely certain) that MSCL first aired in the UK in 1995...

I'm 24.

:)

C'mon - fess up everyone
:D

age?

A poll in this site's cafeteria section shows more than three quarters of respondents between 22 and 24. That poll was started in early 2001, so some of those people could be as old as 26 now. This may be somewhat misleading however as many older fans may be technophobic and thus not know of this site. Hope that helps, starbug :)

Blimey, I'd never seen that before... just goes to show how much there is on this site.

Thanks Nostradamus :)

I was 21 the first time I saw a MSCL episode. Now 28, I wonder where the last 7 years of my life went! It's fun to watch the vcr tapes i made back then - all of the commercials are so dated.

Old timer... at 26! :)

I thought it aired in the UK before '95, but I can not
actually remember!

I am 25. The shows started airing in August 1994, when I was 17.

Looks like we're all in the same age group. I'm 26.
(born in Dec. '75). I think I saw MSCL for the first time in January '96 on german TV.

i wonder if we'll appreciate great tv shows when we're 40? i feel like i would have loved mscl if I first saw it at age 40. however, the results of the age poll in the cafeteria were definately skewed to our generation.

I'm 27 (will be 28 in a few weeks).

Looks like I have plenty of good company here with the upper-20s/early 30s age-group!

Rock on, eternally-young Lifeheads....

8) 8) 8)
