more information about dealing with double charges

I also decided to to call AU today and just got off the phone with Wade at 1-888-5COMICS. I wanted to double check that my status was okay given that I was double charged and I had "disputed" this with my credit card company. If you notified your credit card company to reverse the double charge, the AU folks NEED TO KNOW THIS otherwise you will get a credit from your credit card company, then AU will issue you a credit (eventually -- they're really backlogged), then you will effectively have CANCELLED your order. This is what Wade told me; he's a really nice guy by the way.

did you ask him anything about if the dvds were shipped yesterday? :) i havne't gotten double charged...or charged actually. but wade told me he'd charge me afterwards....

Nope, the DVDs weren't shipped yesterday. There is more information about this in another thread.
