Excuses, excuses from AU

After reading about more new overcharges on this newsgroup, I thought it wise to check my credit card activity online. After all, I have had 3 overcharges this month. And guess what I found AU? That's right, a 4th overcharge this month alone. If you're counting that's a $115, $20, $150, $79.98 = $364.98 This even though I fully paid for my set back in MARCH!!!

So I will once again submit my formal complaints to the agencies below. Set or no set, I'm tired of this company using my credit card like an amusement park.

We as consumers, have been royally taken advantage of by this awful company web site called Another Universe. Between poor customer service and overcharges we have allowed them to just ignore out complaints and look the other way. Now is the time to fight back and let them know we will no loger be taken advantage of and be repeatedly overcharged.

I have listed many of the agencies that can help us not only force AU to get off their A** and fix these credit card charges, but also make them accountable for their lack of respect for the consumer. Each site listed allows you to file a formal complaint against AU. Keep in mind the name of the site is anotheruniverse.com but according to their web site, they are owned by CMI Holdings Group . So when you file your complaint, be sure and reference the web site and the company name. I have also included the contact information of the compnay to assist in your complaint submission. Don't file a complaint for the delay in the set being produced since that is out of their control. The complaints should address the poor customer service, repeated overcharges on your credit card and lack of satisfactory resolution when you contacted them. I urge you all to take the short amount of time to file your complaint. They refuse to fix the problem(s) on their own and the complaints will help ensure they don't take advantage of other customers.

Yeah, like I'm going to post my credit card data and statement for idiots like you to see. Are you really that stupid or do you just seem that way in your posts?

All the posts about overcharges and crappy customer service are not fantasy land like you might think "Inspector Columbo". They are fact and AU will soon have to answer to that. The complaints will be public record for all to see.

By the way, when I joyfully submitted my complaint to the Better Businees Bureau, they already had a file for anotheruniverse.com. I guess I'm not the only consumer that has been ripped off by this My So Called Company!!![/b]

I would really like to have you e-mail me directly.

Really, really, really.

I can't fix a problem if you stay anonymous.

I just need your order number or your real name. I'll be more than happy to post the exact results of what I find as soon as I figure it out and fix it. I'm personally following up on each one, but there isn't anything I can do it you don't tell me who you are.

Ross. I don't want to stir up trouble, because I'm not even paying by credit card, but I was just wondering something.

There have been posts for quite a while now of people complaining of multiple charges on their credit cards. Now, I know you're working to refund the extra charges but do you know why/how these credit card numbers are getting charged(sometimes more than just once)? Surely you're working to fix the cause of the problem too, not just the result.
This would also lessen the stress and work level on yours and Jasons end.

Wait for the Better Business Bureau to email you!!!

You'll be getting no email from me. I called Wade (that name sound familiar ROSS?) at your (888) number almost 3 weeks ago and the problem still hasn't been corrected. Since then another charge hit my card on 8/9 for $79.98. Is that how you correct an overcharge, by charging my card again? Trying to get these overcharges fixed has caused me a lot of aggravation and time. I have contacted my credit card company to report the continued erroneous charges to my credit card. I have also submitted a complaint to the Sacramento Valley BBB.

You had your opportunity to satisfactorily correct these overcharges 3 weeks ago when I called Wade. You chose not to rectify the overcharges on your own so now you can explain your charges to First USA and the BBS. First USA said they would withhold the overcharges until The Comicstore.com provides proof that the charges are valid. Now that will be difficult considering I fully paid for these items with charges on 2/11, 3/3, 3/26, 4/10.

mee too!

Well since he regularly deals with all the incoming calls, it isn't surprising.

However if all you needed to do was either e-mail me, or post your order number so I could look into the problem, and choose instead to post these long threads about how we won't clear up your problem, then I kind of wonder just how much you want to have it cleared up.
