Wow. I think I will throw an enormous party for MYSELF. I will dye my hair Crimson Glow and put on Buffalo Tom. I will dance around my room to the Violent Femmes.

Oh, and my 19-hour MSCL marathon will be repeated over and over until my tv breaks. I will drive everyone in my life crazy with my obsession for the greatest show ever created on the planet.

The fireworks sound cool too.

A celebration?

A 19 hour marathon sounds nice...but alas i think i will be flying it solo.
And, when i possibly start reciting lines...that will seal that solo seat on the couch.

but it would totally be worth it right? for 19 long awaited hours of MSCL!!!

Just make sure someone comes by once in a while to brush off the cobwebs, change the bedpan, and refill the IV nutrient drip-bag. You might also want to leave a note for your friends and loved ones so they don't have you committed ;-)

The morning it arrives on my front door step, I shall lock all doors and windows, disconnect
the phone lines and any link to the outside world. I'll then ensure that the kitchen is fully
stocked, and the UPS is in working order in the event there's a power cut.

Finally, I'll pop the first disc in the player, turn the volume to 11, sit back and enjoy the show.
That's My So-Called Life in a nutshell. <img src="/forum/images/smile.gif">

...

Oh and after the first 19 episode session, I'll check this forum to see all the happy campers.

My biggest issue is what I should watch first - the episodes, or the bonus material? I would watch the bonus stuff last, but what if I'm disappointed in it (yeah, right). I would watch the episodes last, but I already know what's going to happen in them. These are the things I think about.

Bonus-Episodes vs Episodes-Bonus??

Post by Gracie » Jul 10th 2002, 5:51 am

Now that you mention it, i don't know which way round to watch them. Hmmm???
OK i've thought about it and yip that's it i've decided Episodes-Bonus.
Since it will be just soooo BONUS after watching all "exlent" 19 Episodes thinking, "Nothing can top that", then WHAM, BONUS!! And COME ON like we can possible be disappointed!!

Nope, for me it has to be bonus first. I'm WAY to impatient and excited to see that stuff- there's no way I could wait. :D

I am going to watch the bonus disc first as well - I want to feast my eyes on all the new goodies that are being dug up as we speak.

My So-Called Life

Hey all! :)

I can't wait to receive this DVD set. It'll be worth the wait since finally after 8 years almost, my VHS tapes from the ABC days are starting be worn out.

As for other shows, besides Freaks and Geeks, I would like to see the cult hit drama Young Americans hit DVD. It was too good that it only lasted 8 episodes, LOL. Fans of that show (including myself) have had a DVD campaign going on for 2 years now and I've e-mailed the people at Columbia-Tri-Star TV several times but of course, I never get a response! Well, I can keep trying. I mean, at least MSCL is finally hitting DVD.
