I know that the June 18th date isn't happening, but I was wondering if anyone had word on a new release date?

We are trying to put one together that sticks.
Here is the way things stand right now:
1) All video, music and artwork is cleared
2) Lunchbox packaging is cleared, and waiting for another tagline from Buena Vista, such as "Manufactured by AnotherUniverse under exclusive license of Buena Vista"
BMG can turn a project like this around in a month. My old division, the ones handling the production, pump out 700 albums and products a year. The authoring is being handled by AIX Media, the same guys who do all of their DVDs.
It can turn around in a month, and the lunchboxes can usually be rushed in about 40 days. However, the company alerted me that US Customs is understandably taking a bit longer to let things thru.
I am trying to help out the MSCL.com people to reschedule cast interviews. This would normally cause a delay, but because we are looking at a production delay, it will not compound the problem.
Before anything is posted by AU or emailed by me, let me say that I think that July is very doable. Any delays now are just a matter of manufacturing. That a big difference from September 21, when the job cuts happened at my old company.

July?? Wow, that sounds great. I was expecting something much later. Thanks so much for the heads up, Jason. Again, we're all really grateful for everything you've done for this project. I can't wait!

Bear in mind that there are two variables:
1) Delivery from BMG to AU.
Turnaround time at BMG is very fast. I used to work with them. The director of production is a very fine woman named Dana. The DVD authoring is being handled by AIX Media. They do a lot of the authoring for BMG. (I don't want people to have a sense that it is me in my basement making the DVDs, or something, hehe).
2) Delivery of lunchboxes from Hong Kong. The manufacturer, gwhizonline.net (check their site, they are very, very cool), has alerted me that US Customs is, understandably, taking their time and looking over the items being imported.
We are looking into several delivery options from Hong Kong to speed it up some. (remember, we had to delay production until the artwork was cleared).
So... I am optimistic. What is important to me is that this is finally happening with no compromise of content.
