E-Mail From Ross! Hope for International Buyers (well maybe)

Post by aitchjv » Oct 24th 2003, 4:31 am

Thanks to Jason's help after my previous post about contact details for Ross, i finally got an answer from him:

-----------------------------------------------------

The bonus material will be shipping as box 2 on the original order with a
value of $0 so you shouldn't have a customs charge. I'm not sure where your
package is in the order process.

Ross,

It seems as if some people in the US have started to get their lunch boxes.
Do you have a shipping date for the UK?

And can you also confirm that they will be sent as a value of 0 dollars. As
they are bonus "free" stuff they should not have a value. If I am charged
customs again (i have already paid the tax for the WHOLE order), I will be
pretty annoyed.

Thanks

Helen Varley

PS. AU never refunded my double charge, luckily the banks in the UK don't
like being ripped off so they absorbed the charge.

Interesting news !

I wouldn't say good, because with Ross you never know....

But interesting nonetheless !

This morning the Lunchbox and Bonus DVD arrived in cambridge UK

I'm not sure if this will be seen as helpful or distressing to other UK customers but i thought i'd let you know

Well, it's sure as heck distressing to this US customer. I've sent AU repeated e-mails to every address I can find, and can't even get them to respond to them, let alone ship my bloody bonus materials (to Georgia).

Has anybody had any luck actually calling them? The only number I can find on their site is the ordering number - all the contact links are broken. Big surprise.

Howdy All. Sorry to say that its now Feb 28th and not a sign of the bonus materials. The waiting game continues!!!

Hey JimmyDee - how'd the materials arrive? By UPS? Did they mark down a value? Did you have to pay duty??
