Mass Mailing Update

Hi all. On Friday, after repeatedly warning AU.com to respond about the status of the bonus materials that they used to justify their 52-76% markup over Amazon (76% if you paid $115) prices, and having not received a response that adequately addressed those questions, I wrote to 3,000 email address that I either obtained from the initial orders, or via the drygrass.com customer support database.
As of right now, 73 people have notified me that they have registered new complaints with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center as a direct response to that email.
This is in addition to prior fraud complaints registered in the last 6 months for overcharges and failure to refund cancelled orders.
The way I see it, we can now say that NOBODY received what they paid for. Customers paid for a collector's set at a considerable premium and received nothing more than what may in fact be the most God-awful customer service ever documented, and certainly nothing less than an online mugging.
I cannot 100% predict where this will all lead, but I am fairly certain that AU.com's days of ripping off their customers, vendors and suppliers are drawing to an end.
If you have not yet filed a complaint, I recommend that you do it as soon as possible. If you need assistance, email me at rosenfeld@drygrass.com.
