ROSS calls JASON (on the phone)

I just got off the phone with Jason. He's in the city, away from the computer, and Ross gave him a call. I wasmadly taking notes as Jason spoke, so here's what I got:

The lunchboxes are coming from Hong Kong.

The bonus disc is being worked on, but Ross is waiting on 3 signatures from people who appeared in the footage. It's taking longer than expected.

Ross is no longer with CMIH and received no compensation for leaving.

People who have no received refunds need to submit the information again. Since many people received chargebacks from their CC companies, Ross needs updated information regarding outstanding refunds. People should have received an email (see another post in this forum) and should follow the instructions in there. Jason asked if it's going to take another 2 months for people to see the refunds, and although Ross wouldn't comment on an exact date, he said that everyone will be refunded within 2 months.

Jason had to get off the phone because he isn't working this weekend, but asked me to post the information to the forum. He said to take everything with a grain of salt and would appreciate Ross posting the information here himself. Right now this post contains information that came from Ross to Jason and Jason to me, and now from me to you. It would make more sense if Ross would just post the information himself and stop trying to go through people to get his word out. It's probably so he can deny everything later since there's no record of it actually coming from him.

Ross, sign in with your account and post information to the members of the forum.

P.S. Wooo...100 posts!

Well, yes, of course.

Everything should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, how many people on the forum have been lied to by Ross, and how many people believe the guy. I'm guessing that would be the entire forum vs. 0 (or 1...I don't know if Martin still believes Ross).

Jason must have shown great restraint after all the horrendous accusations that Ross has made against him. If RR really believed that Jason was as crazy as he said he was, I'm suprised he even called him.

Just more proof to pile on the huge heap of lies RR has flung about...

well, at least AU/Rojek is communicating again. First the e-mail, now a phone call. After months of silence I didn't expect to hear anything at all.

albeit I don't trust Ross anymore, it seems to be a good sign

I cancelled my order when the going got rough but never received a credit to my credit card. If I got a chargeback to my credit card through my bank, should I still return the e-mail to AU saying I didn't get a credit from them?

Au stuff

Hey all,

Hard to be skeptical about this, sort of the been here before feeling. Yet, I sincerely hope that everyone who hung will get their lunchboxes and bonus discs.

Best,

What will make me stop dumping salt over my shoulder is when Ross stops talking through Jason, Martin or anyone else and communicates this info directly to his customers.

Is the e-mail a good start? To me, no. It's "been there, said that". It's a stall, a call for more time.

No, Ross. Get on your damn website and update it with a message and articulate what you said to Jason. Get on the forums and speak directly. Dates, intentions, encouragement. Stop being vague and off the record.

I want to hear this from Ross. Enough with the hearsay.

Something in writing from Ross would be better.

Something in writing would great, but what I'd really like to see is the issue addressed, front and center, on that damn web site of theirs.

As long as he talks through people, sends emails, retreats - NOTHING is addressed as it should be. This is a major customer service snafu, and they're still taking orders for it.

I want to see accountability, not sweet PR talk. If he put all of his cards on the table and got back in touch with the customers, he'd rebuild trust.

Here's an example for you that's still going on right now; DVD Discoveries (the disc that Jason appears on)...

The disc had production delays, previously advertised segments of the project weren't completed in time for replication, and most recently, half of the mass shipment that supposed to go out First Class went out Media Mail.

What did they do? They updated their website every single time there was news that custermors should have known about, as well as emails. Paul Russell, the president of DVD Angle who is in charge of the project, engaged in forums (most notably the HTF).

And when I emailed him to let him know that my disc was long overdue, he shipped another copy immediatey via First Class.

THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE ROSS.
