Now it's time for Bonus material damn it!

Post by pinkchimney » Dec 3rd 2002, 6:13 am

I know this probably has or will be beat to death, but is everyone giving up on their promised bonus materials? It seems like this forum is dead as far as any new/useful information concerning the rest of the order.

I know not everyone has received their box sets yet. But I think the majority have. I think it is time to press on. Don't wait until you've finished watching the set and then decide that "hey, i should see where the rest is."

Remember, they owe us.......

1. Bonus Disk
2. Certificate of Authenticity (for some)
3. Free MSCL Tee Shirt
4. Gift Certificates depending on when you ordered.

I think if we keep pressing, we will get it.

The only person here who has gotten any information out of AU is MartinPierre, and he hasn't posted here in about a week, even though he said he'd have information for us about the bonuses and everything.

My guess is that Ross is blackmailing him into not speaking here in return for continued contact.

Woohoo.... continued contact with Ross. That's got to be a great thing.

MartinPierre,

Take my advice. If he is too chickenshit to post here himself, or to send out an email, don't put yourself in the unenviable position of acting as the go between for this piece of excrement.

I'm just telling MartinPierre not to waste his time. It's not like what he is going to be told won't be lies anyway.

listen, Rosenfeld: I don't like the way you speak about our private quality time with Mr. Rojek ;)

back to the topic: I won't forget about the bonus items... I already filed complaints every place I could think of. But what else can I do? Calling AU and record a whiny message on their answering machine? - While thinking about that: could be a fun idea
Wade? Are you there? Please pick up the phone. *whining* I want my bonus items. Please. You remember me, don't you? The guy from Switzerland who used to call once a day. Wade? Hello? *snif*

Jason,

Your un-edited post was funnier!

I've given up even thinking anything AU say will actually happen in my life time.

Maybe my grandchildren will get a rusty metal box sometime in the future and wonder what it is. They might even be living in another universe by the time it arrives

DVDs mightn't exist by the time the lunchbox arrives...

I'm still holding on to a very optimistic (or foolish) hope that they will deliver what they say they will.

I would imagine that Ross' next project will be limited edition license plates.

I don't think people have forgotten about, or don't care about, the bonus materials and other promised items. We were told, IIRC, early december. Well early december has just come. There is really nothing any of us can do until they once again miss the time they set for themselves.

Besides the fact that calling and emailing seems to do no good, for now. I'm sure they have rules set up in there email prog that has any email sent in from one of us suckers into a folder that never gets viewed.

Now should they atleast be giving updates on the status and atleast CONFIRM what is on it? Yes.

And of course shipping out the sets did exactly what Ross hoped it would do, quiet a good number of us up.

I think within the next week you will start to see more posts asking where the hell our bonus stuff is.

I think realistically you can expect the lunchbox and bonus disc, if anything. If AU were serious about the rest they would have emailed people who were cancelling with the enticement. Don't hold your breath for anything beyond that, because I don't think you'll ever see it.
