au didn't process my refund....

Post by jenrose » Dec 2nd 2002, 11:26 am

i finally got a letter from my credit card company, it took about two weeks. they have given me conditional credit for the full amount of my set. i guess au has 45 days to rebut the credit or whatever and if they do i will be contacted to give additional information to support my case. as far as i'm concerned the ordeal is over for me. i know i will get to keep my refund (with the way au operated there is no way my cc company, which is an associates visa by the way, will not give me my money).

i've been enjoying the mscl i ordered from amazon and i have a 100 credit on my card just in time for christmas shopping. just want everyone to know that things will look up eventually.

I will try to get a survey out today, but it might have to wait until tomorrow (possibly this evening, but I have a pile of things to get through today).

It will get done, though. I'm not going to rojek (verb) anybody.

Hee hee, the IT guy at my old work was an idiot named Jeff. You know that SNL skit where the IT guy keeps saying, "MOVE" and then babbling a bunch of blah blah stupidcakes? That's Jeff. Unfortunately, he wasn't as competent as his technobabble might indicate so more often than not he would belittle people's ignorance and then NOT fix the problem correctly. We began using his name as a verb too, as in "aw now it's all Jeffed up!"

:D

Ha ha ha

Jeffed has a slightly different connotation here...

Our former premier (chief politician type person) turned talk-back radio host was a jeff...

Noted for arrogance more than popularity.

I had a real rojeky day yesterday. Today should be better, but I will be on the road for most of it. I do have an updated list of people to send the survey to, but since there are two separate surveys, it might take a little longer to get out. certainly no later than tomorrow. (My meetings start at 10:30am EST today, and I have about an hour drive there)

Jason, I'll trade your Rojeky day for my Rojerky day.
