Question for Jason

Jason,
Is there a way for you to find out if AU paid BMG for all of the sets, or if they just paid for that 'first wave' so far?
I'm only curious because I'm now supposed to be part of the 'second wave', but since someone brought up wondering if they even paid for all of the sets now I'm worried about being screwed again and having to wait another 9 million years for them to cough up money for the rest of them.
It's apparent that AU doesn't even have the 'second wave' in their warehouse, so where are they? I'm figuring they're still at BMG but I am scared to know why they are still there! Hopefully it's not a money issue and they just weren't able to move them all at once.
If it's not possible for you to find out, I understand. I just figured I would ask since you were able to contact BMG before about the payment status, I guess this is a little different, though.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Just called BMG to check about this.
BMG was paid on October 17, one day after the deadline imposed on this site. My contact at BMG and I discussed this and there are a few possibilities:
1) Payment came so late from AU that not all DVDs were finished, so AU took partial shipment.
2) All DVDs were delivered to AU, but only a portion of the discs were shipped cross-country by AU.
There are other suggestions that I have, such as the fact that I don't believe AU has enough employees there to help ship. Our photo spy, who took pictures of the warehouse said he only saw 3 employees.
Still no customer service reps answering the phone, and the anonymous email I received indicates that Wade was suspended, although Ross told our photo guy that "Wade was having a well-deserved vacation."
In any case, BMG reiterated the same thing they told me before. If this had been paid in full on time and as promised, all of the DVDs would have been received by AU long before they were. You could have had these in September.

But really, is that any worse than Goose or Maverick?

[off topic interlude drift: I thought Top Gun was one of the coolest movies ever back in the day. I saw it on tv the other night and I actually cringed and laughed when Tom Cruise proclaimed, "I feel the need - the need for speed!" Why happened in the decade and then some that I now see this as cheesy?! I felt so guilty about laughing!]
Back to our regularly scheduled head scratching session regarding AU.

Don't feel bad, candygirl.
Up until the time I got married, my friend and I often re-enacted a scene in bars.
"She's lost it."
"No she hasn't"
"Yes, she has."
"No... Oh, I hate it when she loses it."
.
.
.
"You never close your eyes any more when I kiss... your lips..."
Oddly enough, it worked better for Tom than it ever did for me.

The list is long but distinguished.

So all of the sets are paid for and the second wave should really be happening this coming week/ as soon as they get them from BMG?
I don't mean to sound stupid. I guess partial shipment means that AU got stuff this week which they sent out and now they will be getting the rest of them when BMG is done with them, right?
I just read the thread about the guy who threatened with legal action and got his set and Mike said they are being shipped from BMG around Monday-ish.
Any truth to that, do you know of?
I just don't want to fall for any of AU's tricks again, so I want to get things straight.
*edit*
Oops, I swear your post was slightly different earlier, Jason! Anyway thanks for the help with the information you gave. I'm still hoping they'll ship more next week no matter what the case is.

I think i added some stuff to it shortly after posting it. You must have read pretty soon after I posted it.
No clue what they are doing. I heard the 2nd wave isn't due to start until Nov 13. Again, even if AU told me any information I still wouldn't trust it.

Yeah, I got an email(reply) saying I'm in front for "Wave 2". In that one it said on or around November 13th. Then today I got another email (I emailed Ross 9 million times earlier in the week because I got no replies) another reply, but this one said on or around the 15th.
I don't really trust anything they say either. I did cancel at one point, but it's not my credit card so I figured it would be easier to keep the order now that they are shipping the DVDs rather than to have to try and fix things. (Yes, I am lazy..)
It seems like(if it's the truth) BMG will ship to AU this coming Monday. They'll get to AU around Wednesday or Thursday and they will start shipping them out the day they get them or around then.
And I was in the middle of making some food after I posted what I did, but I kept coming back and refreshing. That's when I saw your reply so it probably was right after you posted it.

Yes, that was the line in the original theatrical release. Maybe Howard has been watching one of the "edited for television" versions. You know, the kind that changes "f*** you" to "Forget you" about a million times in Breakfast Club and changes "First I'd like to butter your muffin" in Weird Science to "First I'd like to better know you muffin."
Damn censors! I love how the voices never quite match up.
