I've been absent from the forum for a week and don't know if others have received them, but I received my box set today. Only I don't have it. Just a note from UPS saying they had been by. I can go pick it up though. Imagine my surprise when the UPS note said anotheruniverse.com??? Anyone else get theirs and watching the show today? Looks like the Sports Night DVD's I was waiting to watch tonight will be put on hold.

apex - did UPS not deliver it because you were not there to sign for it? I frequently receive UPS shipments but they are left on my front porch. Your experience makes me wonder if AU is specifying on the UPS delivery instructions that a signature is required.

I live in an apartment complex, and if I am not there UPS will always leave it at the office and leave a note on the door. That's probably what happened here.

Thanks Megs - I bet you're right. I wasn't thinking about it being an apartment - I was just worrying about missing the Friday delivery and having to wait till the next week to get them!!

I just contacted "7 on your side" in the Sacramento area. I sent them links to the poop shoot and digitalbits.com articles.

Yup, AU specified "Signature Required" for delivery. I'm going to pick mine up tonight at the UPS location. I don't want to chance it being sent back to AU.

Despite AU's "signature required" UPS delivery, no one signed for my set. My boyfriend got home and there was a box from AU.

As for apartment complexes, I used to work at one and if the tenant wasn't home, the UPS guy would have someone in the leasing office sign for it and then we would leave the tenant a message telling them to pick up their package in the office.

I think it really depends on your individual UPS man and how lazy he is.

A few years ago, I told UPS to leave the stuff on my porch if no one answers the door, signature or not, and they leave it. It's possible that someone living with you or even someone who lived there before you had asked them to do the same.

Good god. This is the most monotone, most boring post I've ever made. Hooray.
