DH is gonna be out of town the weekend after this one, so I'm gonna watch them all then (if I can manage to wait that long)!

What I am gonna do

Post by lance » Nov 6th 2002, 5:23 pm

When my DVDs arrive,

I will carefully inspect all contents. I will try out each disc, making certain everything works. Then...

I will grab the slipcases and dance a little jig, while my wife stares on with that look that says, "It is not too late for me to back out this marriage."

Just wanted to say I love your 'quote'. That's one of my very faves from the show; when that great English teach tells Ricky that...truly cool. Come to think of it, there are a LOT of great quotes...

Oh man, I CANNOT wait!!!!!! Woohoo!! Doh!

I'll probably keel over from shock, first.

But my last DVD player just mysteriously went dead one day. I want to get a better one and could really use my stupid $115 overcharge to help get one. :x

Otherwise i'll be here watching them on my Mac. (or maybe at my sister's house on her DVD player)

I also have to decide what to do about the fact that technically i cancelled the AU order that's just been shipped and ordered from Amazon. I just couldn't ever get them to acknowledge the cancellation and i never got a refund.

I'd really like that bonus disk if there's a chance it's going to show up. But i don't like paying $50 extra, being overcharged and messed around for months. Maybe i'll end up with 2 sets and find someone who'll buy one of them, or give it for christmas. :?

When my sets arrive i'm going to :

A) Gasp

B) Scream with delight

C) Hold back the tears of joy

and then i'm going to run into my room and get them playing!!!!

What i'm looking forward to most is playing them to my friends...three of my closet friends haven't ever seen the show, so it'll be a bit of a premier for them and i'm hoping to recruit some new fans for good old MSCL!
I can't quite decide which episode to show them...its a toss up between The Pilot and On The Wagon. Decisions, decisions!

:D

On other message boards it is short for "Dear Husband", or "Damn Husband", or "Dumb Husband", whatever the poster's mood conveys.

Hey Pedro,
I think you will find it is great fun to show the episodes to people who have never seen the show before. I know it was for me and my friend. :)

No problem. What other message boards are you on that you know that? Just wondering if we frequent the same boards. :D

Hey Megs:

Mostly fitness boards...most notably the Video Fitness Forum.

That would be quite a coincidence, wouldn't it :?: :!:
