I am informed this morning by an AU rep that the DVDs have arrived at AU's warehouse and approximately 1000 sets (including mine) will be mailed today.

Now they will only ship out 250 because they will have no time to box with everyone from the forum calling them to find out if they are one of the lucky 1000. Which i highly doubt that they are being honest when saying if you are or arent (hell, would they even tell someone they arent?). They always tell you what you want to hear.

No disrespect to anyone here, but I will consider the game ended when I have been refunded my double bill and have the DVDs, the lunchbox and the bonus disk (plus all the other crap Ross promised) in my hands!

Sorry, but if all you want is the DVDs, go buy 'em from Amazon!

Watch your credit cards, folks...

AU's gonna have to come up with funds from somewhere to pay the shipper.

Get ready for another round of "accidental" shipping charges. Which will pass to the accounting department for processing.

Don't get too happy.

I think when s/he said 1000 s/he meant 1000 shipping today. There is only so much a company can ship in a day and i'm thinking 1000 is too high for AU to get out, though i guess it would depend on how prepared they were before the sets even hit their warehouse (if they even did yet).

You should all request a credit card number change from your CC company. That way, any credits you are owed will be trasferred to your new card, but any further attempts by AU to steal money using your old # will fall flat and leave them scratching their heads.

I talked to one of my credit card company's dispute specialists and he knew exactly what I was talking about when I started telling him about my case. "No further explanation needed," he said. "I've investigated this company many times."

I was glad to not have to sound like a raving nut.

Do you mind mentioning the CC company? It'd be interesting to see which ones have gotten so many complaints that thier individual dispute specialists now know AU by name.
