AU charged me again instead of giving me a refund

I was checking my credit card statement online today to see if my refund from AU had come through, and saw that my balance had gone way up.

It seems that instead of crediting me, AU has charged me again! The day after I got an email that my refund was being "processed."

Being a student, this has thrown me over my Visa's limit. If I dispute the charges will they waive the over limit fee?

This is really frustrating having all these funds tied up when you don't have much credit to begin with.

I can't believe AU is doing this again!
If you tell your credit card company that the charges were unauthorized, they should waive any fees and interest associated with the fraudulent charges. Call them right away.

Sheesh... I feel like I'll be on my deathbed in 50 years and this will still be unresolved.

OK, how many people still believe that this is just a problem with AU's "shopping cart" ? I guess with all the shipping he need to do, Ross needs a little extra money. Or perhaps this is punishment for cancelling your order.

Oh well, it's not like we can do anything to stop it. Authorize.net has given Ross a license to steal with impunity.

I would like to think this is due to sloppiness, but this is really a bad time for sloppiness.

Of course, they just hit the "charge" button instead of the "refund" button, TWICE

Dispute this at once with your credit card company. Then call AU on Monday and yell at Wade. Don't even bother thinking that AU will refund your cash. Ross has probably already pocketed the extra money.

I do not believe this. I just checked my cc balance online and I have been charged $115.00 AGAIN even though I canceled the damn thing on October 11. This will be the third time I have been charged. The first one was legit, the second was a double charge that was later refunded, but this third one just takes the cake seeing as how I had CANCELED a few weeks ago. I've called numerous times only to get their fricking voice mail, emailed ross 3 times (the first time he said I should get the refund by the end of the next week), emailed customer service at AnotherUniverse, filled out the drygrass forms, disputed the charge with my credit card company, and filed a complaint with the IFCC.

This is sooo illegal it's not even funny.

I guess I have to call my CC company tomorrow to make sure that I wasn't charged again... what a mess

Well, at least we know how he can afford to pay off that American Express card at the end of this month...

My inbox indicates that this may not have been an isolated incident.

So much for "fixing the cause of the double charges."

Refusing to pay vendors.... Shameful

Handing over production of the the Bonus
DVD to your webmaster... Disgraceful

Obtaining a limitless line of credit from your customer's
credit card accounts... Priceless

There are some things in life that money can't buy,

For everything else, there's...

If they charge you when you cancel, maybe you should be ordering instead to get a refund? It's that Jedi mind trick.
