OK I know I asked this like way back in the beginning...

BUT does anyone know if the original cast is aware of the set. I'm sure they are now, but don't you think they would be appalled at the way their fans have been treated?

I mean I know some of them are too big to care now, but I think most still appreciate their die-hard fans.

What if they were made aware of all the drama AU has caused. From being the *exclusive* distibutor, to charging us all up front (without permission mind you), to delay after delay, to double and triple charges, to non payment of vendors, to not processing cancellations.

Maybe if they were made aware and got involved we would see some progress. If not I'm sure all the press related to it might do the job for them.

I dunno... maybe I'm just a hoples idealist, but do you think it may work?

If I were a MSCL cast or crew member (sadly, I am not), I would stay as far away from this fiasco as possible.

I have often wondered if anyone from the cast or crew read the DVD forum. My guess is no. Thinking about my own life, I tend to avoid reading about stuff related to past jobs I have had. Plus, in entertainment, you work on a ton of projects, so the old ones probably fade away in your memory.

Sadly, I don't think that they know or care.

well...i'm thinking no...and jared leto is on tour now with his band...hehe i'm going to see them on oct 31 when they play at my college. so maybe i should ask him . or just get his autograph and swoon....

I doubt anyone with an actual life is as addicted to this forum's drama the way I am, but wouldn't be surprised if cast members were aware of the situation. Only because they'd want the DVD set as much or more than we do. I mean they all gave amazing performances and would want to preserve them. I've heard actors say they never watch their own work or read critic's reviews, but that's just what they claim in public

I agree - as egotistical as it sounds, sometimes my sisters and I pull out the tapes our parents made of us performing and then we sit on the sofa and watch ourselves from years ago.
