Two words for everyone with MSCL videos at home...TAB OUT

Believe me, I have learnt my lesson the hard way :(

But the DVDs - now there's a dream come true (potentially).

:)

Oh dear - my technical ineptness surfaces again. I obviously don't have the hang of this quote thing.

Sorry. I was responding to zedhead...

Yes, I left my tape of episodes 13-19 lying around in the living room (clearly marked, mind) and MY OWN FATHER taped over it (some science fiction film).  The worst thing? I got the blame. Yes, me. Apparently, I'm not permitted to leave my possessions in the living room.
At least MSCL is replaceable - one of my sister's college roommates taped over her senior dance concert. I admit that was partly my fault (I grabbed a tape marked "miscellaneous" as I was running out the door) and her fault (she never relabelled it), BUT when she found out that this guy had just shoved it in the VCR and taped yet another Michael Jackson special on her tape, she went ballistic.

The roommate's defense: "But the tape says MISCELLANEOUS."

My sister's response: "Does it say JOEY'S miscellaneous? NO!"

Needless to say, none of this changed what was on the tape.

This prompted our youngest sister to inquire as to how much a safe deposit box would cost so that she could keep her dance tapes safely stowed.

haha i did this with mine......but i put tape over the hole to record the episode with the handcuffs which wasn't aired the first time here in the UK due to it being deemed unsuitable!!
problem.....i had been watching it recently whilst waiting for this damn dvd set and taped over the final episode by accident argh!

so glad i don't have long to wait to have a nice crisp version to watch!

I too have made the mistake of taping over something.

My Das had surgery on his head, and they taped it, for him.

He took the tape and like to show it too all his friends. :?

I know I know, very strange.

Well the tape was only labeled on the top. Not on the side. I too had an unlabeled tape, that I used.

Well to make a long story even longer, I taped pver his surgery tape, with of all things, Bewitched.

He was very mad, but he laughs about it now.

And teases me. So everything eventually turned out okay.

But, I learned my lesson. Pull out that tab.

And label all sides.

Oh and here's hoping MSCL DVD will come before my Birthaday too. Mine is the 22.

WOW the 29th really???

I have seen many a birthdays on the 30th, 31st, 28th etc... but up until this year I had only met one other person with the 29th.

I was at a casino and got carded (the poor guy must have been far-sited). He was this huge scary looking guy, and when he saw my birthday he about started doing flips on the casino floor. He said his B-day was the 29th and after all the people he cards (security guard) he had never seen October 29th. He also told me he had a twin sister and he could not wait to tell her... Some people are very very strange.

Or easily excited.

I remember how excited I was when I learned my new next door neighbor (who was in the same grade as me) shared my birthday.

:D
