I just called AU. And for the first time I got someone answering the phone after my first try. Unfortunately not Wade (I called everyday since last week, so he might miss his daily call from Switzerland...).

Anyway, I was put on hold and the guy went into the accounting department. Then he told me that I would be credited back for the double charge right now "as we speak". Certainly the money isn't back yet, but can you believe this? After months off promises I might finally get my money back. And the guy on the phone even promised to send me an e-mail confirming that I was credited back.

I hope this was the end of the ongoing double-charge-saga. So I could concentrate again on my master exams...

I called AU this morning to cancel and spoke to Buddy. When I asked how soon I would see my refund he said he wasn't sure, but it would be "soon."
I'm hoping he meant sooner than Christmas.

oh that's for sure - but it's better than "You're still on the list. You'll be credited soon". They could have told that again. I don't see a reasons for a new lie...

Yes I talked to Wade also this morning. He said my order showed that it was cancelled and that the funds should be credited to my account. I called and checked my account and the funds have yet to be credited. I then called Wade back and he said that if he credited my account this morning it wouldn't be done; yet It takes 3 days. I responded with that my credit was requested a week ago and that you said that it was already he finished. His response: Well I have no timeline on how the accounting department works.

Yeah. When I called back in AUGUST, I was told that my refund was being immediately taken care of.

Two months of waiting and percentage fees later...I still have nothing to show except a bigger credit card bill nearing it's limit.

I rang AU last week and in the course of conversation I asked whether, for Wade's convenience (in a voice dripping in sarcasm) he would like to supply me with the direct line number to the accounting department He laughed and said that they don't have one because if they did they'd never get any work done from people calling all the time.

Ha! So supposedly, they're working their little behinds off right now. Strange how nobody has any refund.

Also, I was wondering how many people actually work for AU.

btw, I called again today because I didn't get yesterday's e-mail. My order ist ok and they said again that I was credited back yesterday. So I'm just hoping the best.

right now it seems that I will get back $115, and that I will get the DVDs and the lunchbox. Now I hope for the bonus disc. After that AU can go to hell

I got half of my money back! WHOO!

They'll get the "HOO!!" when I get the other half.

In case anyone is wondering, it was because of my CC company, not because AU suddenly stopped being jerks.
