Jason - maybe we need another "deadline"

Post by Denie » Oct 19th 2002, 12:25 pm

In light of your recent posts, it's clear that without some type of major threat to AU, we will never see any of the bonus material. I know for myself and probably almost everyone else who still has orders with AU, the only reason I have not switched to another retailer is for all those extras.

Perhaps another deadline with a threat to mass e-mail all of their customers unless they pay the vendors, get releases from Bedford Falls, etc., will motivate AU. The possibility of loosing virtually all of their MSCL orders (and all the money) appears to be the only thing they take seriously.

What do you think?
If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.

I agree that there is a need for something to push/threat AU to continue the production of the bonus material. But I just doubt can another deadline or anything really motivate AU?

You're probably right. I'm just trying to make one last effort to get the lunchbox & bonus disc (which I really want). Without those, there is absolutely no point for me to pay an extra $40 for the same DVDs I can get through a more reliable and trustworthy retailer.

Since we are obviously never going to see the lunchbox or bonus disc, I guess I will keep my Amazon pre-order after all. I will call Wade first thing Monday morning to cancel. Adios AU!

If reporting to the http://www.ifccfbi.gov site, cross-reference my complaint:

IFCC-I02101510303033

thanks

No deadlines are necessary. AU has had ample time to complete this project, and all evidence points to them purposefully stalling and being deceptive. If the funds that were generated by this project were actually applied to it, we would have our sets already. The funds have been misallocated, the promised bonus material does not exist, and the only thing anyone who ordered expecting same will receive is a set which can be purchased anywhere for substantially less.

I just emailed Ross Rojek about my order and got this back in about 10 minutes: "I am on the road right now, and unable to respond to your email. I will be back in the office 10/21/02. Sorry for any delay or inconvience this may cause you."

Has anyone else emailed him today and is this a real automated reply or is this just him trying to blow me off again?

Look at how defensive Ross got when I reported it to http://www.ifccfbi.gov

It all went down here:

This is an automated reply. I received one yesterday, as have many other people. The e-mail has the same exact text that you described.

I'm sorry; I'm ignorant. What exactly does "cross-reference my complaint" mean? Do I just mention it?
so says Sparx.

You can always put it in the last section that's listed as "additional information" or in the section where they request information about other victims of the fraud.
