[A] ANOTHER UNIVERSE - IS NO LONGER AN EXCLUSIVE RETAILER OF MSCL DVD

Another Universe is no longer THE exclusive retailer of the
"My So-Called Life" series (i.e., 19 episodes) on DVD. To be clear, one
now has the option of purchasing a five disc set (i.e, 19 episodes) at
various physical and online retailers. (See listing below under
"OTHER RETAILERS OFFERING MSCL ON DVD".)



ANOTHER UNIVERSE - SOME FACTS

[The information reported herein is based solely upon fact. These facts
have been confirmed and corroborated by two or more sources. We stand
behind these facts 100 percent. If anyone provides credible and verifiable
information refuting these facts, we will promptly post corrections and
amplifications to <http://www.mscl.com/mall/dvdbox.phtml>.

As of October 19, 2002, we have confirmed the following:

FACT: On October 17, 2002, Another Universe paid BMG for 4,000 units of
"My So-Called Life" on DVD. (A single unit is comprised of one five-disc
set that includes all 19 episodes of MSCL.)

FACT: As of October 18, 2002, GwhizOnline, the manufacturer of the MSCL
lunchbox, has NOT been paid. Although the production of the MSCL lunch
box had begun, it is presently on hold pending payment by Another Universe,
or some other arrangement between the parties. (FYI: The production
facility for the MSCL lunch box is in Hong Kong.)

FACT: Customers who have pre-purchased AUs "My So-Called Life" DVD
Collectors Edition Set have reported -- on the so-called forum
<http://www.mscl.com/forum/index.php> and elsewhere -- instances of:
double and treble charges to their credit cards; unresolved billing
issues; and, slow response times to their inquiries.

FACT: Another Universe says that it is offering a certificate of
authenticity:

"FYI: The first 2500 lunch box sets will include a Certificate of
Authenticity, all other orders will lack the certificate but will
still include all 19 episodes, the lunch box and bonus disk, all
for $115.00."

Another Universe does not indicate what this certificate
specifically authenticates, or what intrinsic or perceived value
such a certificate offers.

FACT: To date, Another Universe has announced 2 shipping dates
for the "My So-Called Life" DVD Collectors Edition Set. The dates
announced were: June 18 and September 17. Neither of these shipping
dates were met. As of October 18, 2002, AU has not announced a new
shipping date.

Please consider these facts carefully when deciding whether to place
an order with AnotherUniverse. MSCL.COM does currently not recommend to
do business with AnotherUniverse, but we encourage you to make your own
decision based on these informations we provided in this newsletter and

[C] JASON ROSENFELD RESIGNS FROM DVD PROJECT

Dry Grass Partners LLC, Jason Rosenfeld's company, is pulling out of
the MSCL DVD project citing a lack of trust and good faith with
Another Universe.

In addition, now through December 16, 2002, at 12:00 a.m. EST,

your order be cancelled.

On December 16, 2002, at 12:00 a.m., this page will be disabled.
However, Another Universe will be given access to all customer
requests submitted prior that date.
