Number of Signatures?

I was just wondering how many signatures were on the petition to make the MSCL dvd when it was offered to BMG/AU/whomever? There is currently a petition for The State dvd:

http://www.petitiononline.com/STVHSDVD/petition.html
(for any interested parties)

It has almost 5,000 signatures, so I wanted to get an idea of what the average number is for these petitions. I pray that the people running the State petition don't offer it to AU. I'm not sure this post will be moved, but it really isn't off topic! I just want to know how the making of the MSCL dvd went about. I found out about it a few months ago when the pre-order was going on, but I didn't have the honor of signing the petition.

Umm.....you waited 47 mins before posting a followup. Give people a chance to respond.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I saw the post moving down the row, was scared it would never be read, so i posted something to move it up the list! a simple plan you see. I am also a bit bored. One can only read so much about medieval art . . .
Anyhow, answers would be much appreciated! Please, take your time.

We had around 4,700 signatures, as mentioned on http://www.mscl.com/dvd (scroll down to "background story").
