Slander, huh... Slander refers to spoken word. If you bothered to take a look at the dictionary, "slander" is:

1. Law. Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.
2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.

Now, to clarify, what you're referring to would be "libel." Libel refers to damages eminating from printed word.

There are a few things you need to be able to prosecute for either libel or slander. First off, you need to prove that the statements made are false. Thus far, it seems that Jason has been providing factual information regarding the status of the DVDs. He has also stated his opinion about Ross Rojak, however, that's just what it was -- opinion. He didn't state it as fact (although it very well might be).

Once you prove that false and possibly defamatory statements were given, then you must prove that damage was done to the person's reputation. While it may be true that Jason's statements, if false, harmed Ross Rojak in some way, you can also argue that Ross kicked himself in the ass. By not promptly refunding those that he double-billed, by giving empty promises, in addition to not giving refunds to those that cancelled, he was digging his own grave and allowing his clients to form their own conclusions of him and his company.

From what I've seen so far, it's unlikely that Jason's statements have been false. They seem to be based on facts alone, and thus letting the readers form their own conclusions. Therefore, as premise #1 is false (that Jason made false statements about Ross or AnotherUniverse.com), then there is no case dealing with libelous statements between Jason and Ross (or AnotherUniverse.com).
