Regarding the ~possible~ free t-shirt

... if such a thing were to happen... a thought crossed my mind:

What SIZE?

Personally, I'd need a big shirt, and would only be miffed to find a 1XL tee or some such sent to me as a consolation prize, months after the fact.

I realize it's far from written in stone (apparently - it shouldn't even take this long, Ross, to determine exactly what is being done to compensate everyone for all the hassles and confusion), but I thought I should put it out there, lest someone forget that one size does NOT fit all.

And I would be equally miffed to receive a size XL to cover my 100 pound frame. I have no need for a belted minidress. A lot of times with these free t-shirts (and I have a ton), they assume that as long as you can get into it, it will make people happy.

I will state now for AU's benefit that I DO NOT want a shirt with shoulder seams that droop halfway down my biceps. I do not wear t-shirts with sleeves that hang to my elbows. Just because I won't burst the seams trying to get into doesn't mean that I will wear it and look like a little kid playing dress up in my mommy's clothes. Those XL shirts are destined to be ripped up and used to wash my car.

As far as I'm concerned, giving me something that I won't use, like an XL t-shirt is the same thing as giving me nothing extra.

I think this means, between the two of us, they'll be sending out XL t-shirts.

I can think of a solution, but I'm sure my buddy in Edmonton wouldn't want me volunteering him to write another database for AU! ;)

lol like they wouldnt f*** that up too. The idea now is to give them as little room to screw up as possible. Baby steps.

If it would help the customers I'd be glad to write something quickly.

Ross, if you read this and want a quick and dirty form for customers to fill out I can set something up. Nothing pretty, but it'll be functional. Just send me an email if you're interested.
