AU started charging my credit card right away basically (3/1, 3/27 and again 8/9). My credit card company won't do anything about the first 2 charges so I'm stuck. Please post if you successfully get a full refund of all of your charges from AU and what you had to do to get it.
Instead of paying double to a crooked company I'd much rather buy for half price from one that charges you on shipment. I'm no longer interested in the "bonuses" that will probably never ship anyway.

Someone reported on this forum that they successfully received a refund for an overcharge by sending anotheruniverse.com a certified letter with documentation of the overcharges on a debit card. Maybe that would work if you are cancelling your order.
I'm old school, but I tend to think letters are more effective than telephone calls or emails.

I am one of the lucky ones. I've kept track of the dvd set way back when it was the first pre-order. I decided to wait until they were made, and had a definite ship date, so I ordered it about a week before sept. 17th. I was charged this month for the set, but I have a while before the payment is due. So in the meantime, I have written AU an email cancelling my order, and I am calling my credit card company tomorrow, telling them about AU's unethical treatment, charging for an item that was never recieved nor shipped. Hopefully it will work out.

By the way, I stated this a little earlier, but it's being pushed down the list and I'm afraid nobody will read it, so I am posting it again. I hope someone can help me:
"Maybe someone can help me. I ordered the set from Amazon, but the 10% discount didn't go through? Did I do something wrong? Do you have to type something in? I don't need anymore discounts, I've recieved four. Thanks to everyone that sent them. But can someone help me use them?"
