I'm not being funny, but why all this talk about Kelly Clarkson?
I barely know who she is (i'm a UK resident!!) and already i'm redaing her song lyrics in this forum...aaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Apologies to all the americans who read this and disagree (I just know i'll get shot down in flames for saying this) but American Idol looked sooo
cheesey and sickly - bleugh! If I had to choose, give me Will Young anyday. Failing that - how about a DVD set of the entire series of MSCL?
OK, maybe i'm pushing it here.....

Not long to wait now guys!!

I saw that Will Young guy on the American Idol finale and I couldn't believe that he won. Then again, I didn't see the competition. Regardless, I didn't think he was a great singer.

I don't really care for the song that Kelly Clarkson released but then again it wasn't her choice either. Hopefully when her CD gets released it will have better songs because she is a pretty good singer.

How I envy the people that don't know who she is. Things like American Idol, I wish there was a rock I could live under.

As I mentioned in another forum: Minesweeper. It will make everything else go away. :D

Minesweeper Champ

I cleared the beginner grid in ten seconds -- beat that!

I find minesweeper to be the most frustrating game ever. I always pick the bomb in the first 3 tries.

For some reason, the clock froze when I was playing Minesweeper once, so under high scores for the intermediate game, my time is 10 seconds - woo hoo!

Say what you want, but the poll has Kelly Clarkson getting in before the MSCL DVDs. That says a lot more to me than people hiding under rocks to avoid American Idol and who are too far away from the US to hear her voice (poor things!!). One of her lines even epitomizes the MSCL DVD travesty best: "Some people wait a lifetime." That resonates with me because I've been waiting what seems like a lifetime for these DVDs.

MSCL is just as much a product of popular culture as KC is. While you, or anyone else, is hiding under rocks avoiding Kelly, you'll be hiding away from MSCL and any other pop-stuff that seems so abhorrent just by virtue of its being pop.

The key to minesweeper is reading the instructions first. Expecting to win the game without some knowledge of what the numbers mean is like putting a blind fold on and walking into heavy traffic and expecting to make it across the street in one piece.
