Re: Discussion for Episode 4: Father Figures

...it's not until she sees Graham flirting with Rayanne, who is even younger than "the girl" he was "talking" to, that she recalls how much she distrusts him now. Wow, I never thought Graham was flirting with Rayanne. He was being very friendly, but he was with Sharon as well, and I never thought h...

Re: Dissecting Danielle

I always thought Danielle added a lot to the show. She plays the perfect little sister. Annoying, intrusive, a pain in the ***, everything a little sister should be. I like the scenes that see see how much see wants to be like Angela, and how much she admires her. The Halloween episode, we see her d...

Re: What do you think Tino was really like?

I never really thought too much about what Tino would be like. I like the fact that we don't know too much about him, and that we never see him. I can never decide if he is someone that is still in school, or out. I think I agree with candygirl, that Tino would be more like Wooderson if he was done ...

Re: High School Memories.

My fondest memory of high school was the day I finished my last final exam, I walked out the door skipping my last class. I walk out of the school, and in the parking lot, I turned back and looked at the school. That moment, the moment I looked back, was my favorite moment of high school. The school...

Re: I wish I was 15 again....

Watching this show certainly does bring back the memories. Having said that, though, it is also interesting watching the show now from a non-teenage perspective. In particular, I get a lot more out the parent/adult scenes now than I did when it first aired. That just speaks to the timeless nature o...

Re: Barack the Vote?

Obama needs foreign policy help in a big way, so he better find someone with some experience in that area. The dems had this election wrapped up, and they had to do is run a decent candidate. They left the door wide open for McCain by running such a weak candidate. I still think McCain is the front ...

It's on hiatus because of the writers strike.

It is one of the more interesting new shows on this year.

Re: Barack the Vote?

I don't know about Obama treading across party lines. I don't know any Republicans that support him. I hate to say this because you seem to like Obama, but the Clintons cut a deal with the Democratic party to run Obama, because he is the only person that Hilary can beat. The Clintons wanted a candid...

Re: "My So-Called Life" on ABC.com

while I think it's great that ABC has decided to show the episodes onine, I can't help but be a little disgusted with the obvious hypocrisy. guess I'm still bitter. I feel the same way. The network never really believed in the show, so for them to want to play it now to try to make a few bucks, doe...

Re: Jared Leto & Denise Richards in Secret commercial

Hey, I remember that commercial. It's always cool to see old familiar TV shows and commercials. I like to laugh at the we used to dress and talk.

Here's a video of a young Jered Leto without a shirt on, for all you ladies.

Re: 2007 Region 1 Complete Set Rerelease (ShoutFactory)

I just got my set in the mail today from Amazon. I haven't read the little book, or watched the bonus disk yet. The book has a bunch of nice pictures, I'm looking forward to reading it. The picture quality of the DVDs is noticeably better. I took a few quick pictures of the set (Sorry if they've bee...

Re: Herskovitz: How Alicia Silverstone Almost Played Angela

The only thing we were pretty sure of, something was going to happen between Angela and Brian Krakow. I always believed that they were going to have something between Angela and Brian. I mean, it's how Claire played the scene. The way Angela looked into Brian's eyes, it's just so obvious something ...

... and if you go right now to the main page of shoutfactory.com , you'll be greeted by the cast of "My So-Called Life". They basically just say "you're watching shoutfactory.com", but still -- it's amazing to see them all again after so many years. I've seen Lisa Wilhoit (she's so grown up!), Devo...

I remember watching the pilot 13 years ago. I saw a commercial for the show, sometime in the early summer of 94, and thought, that show looks interesting, I'll have to remember to check it out when it's on. I was hooked five minutes into the show. I watched the pilot again on the 13th anniversary. I...

Looks like you can pre-order the set for $48.99, not a bad price. That is a great price. The free shipping in the US tops it off! I have never bought anything from amazon.com before. There shouldn't be any problems you think? I've ordered a lot of things from Amazon, and I've never had any problems.
