I definitely don't want any CC data. Hate to say it dude, but if it's gonna be contacting people on the list, it's me. The fulfillment company is not going to be emailing these people (other than for tracking, and that still has to be confirmed). So, if you can figure out who is owed, just send thos...
One down. :D If I get a fax from the FBI authorizing me to move the stuff, I'll do it. Question for the programming types here. Does anybody know a way to take one list of emails and automatically compare it with another list and automatically spit out the emails that don't appear on the master list...
Update: I requested a fax from Agent Baker saying that they are neither claiming the DVDs and lunchboxes as spoils of the investigation against Ross Rojek or as evidence. If they will send this, I believe that I can make a reasonable argument that distributing them to their owners is the right thing...
I should add that one idea I had was to try to couple 120 of the the unclaimed lunchboxes and bonus discs with DVDs (which I would try to get donated for a fundraiser) and try to recoup some overcharge and bonus s&h money. That's pretty hands-on though. As for legal advice, pretty much it comes down...
Ideally, I would like to find volunteers in Sacramento to destroy (it does not take much to dent and destroy these things, the post office does a good enough job) unshipped quantities at the end of the project. As long as people have a chance to get their stuff, and as long as Ross doesn't profit fr...
I deleted it quickly. You are right, it was in the other thread. The reason I removed it was the same as I stated before. When I found out that the merchandise was there, I was both extremely pissed off and kind of happy that it hadn't already been sold for scrap. The more I got into things, it just...
Let me pose a few questions: 1) If I obtain a letter from the FBI Sacramento office on their letterhead stating that this merchandise is not evidence and granting permission to act in the best interest of customers, would the site be willing to post it or link to my site where I post it? 2) If I nee...
We've argued before and I'd rather spend time trying to figure out if I should do anything. I did admit to deleting all my own posts in that thread, so I don't believe I was lying. Things were said better if I didn't give away who told me. All I really care about is one thing right now. If I try to ...
I was asked by one of the people who informed me to delete it. I did as I was asked because I didn't want to get the person into trouble for speaking to me. I did not go back to any older posts to edit them and this is evident from the site's ability to track edits. I did edit things after I posted ...
I did not go back to any older posts to edit them and this is evident from the site's ability to track edits. I did edit things after I posted them if I thought I could have stated things better. Not to change things after the fact. I did delete the entire contents of the poll thread. I'm not trying...
