Somewhere there is a nice leather day planner with my initials on it, and a PDA I used for 6 months. Our secretary buys callenders for everyone, this year I recieved Hall of Fame Hockey Players, she knows me well. Last year was a callender of black and white photographs by a photagrapher who combine...

Congradulations Lance. It's a great feeling to be doing the job you want to do and to be working in the career of your choice. I hope it all works out for you. As far as something to add to the thread. I'm approaching my first full year of being a single man after spending the previous 5 in a life s...

Monday night with the Eagles and the Rams was pathetic. The Eagles never showed up. I know they are resting guys, but come on, at least play like you care. The whole thing left me feeling very unfulfilled.

special_k, thank you for the christmas wishes, I hope yours is a merry one as well. You've summed up the female prespective very well. I won't argue with anything you've said, there isn't any point. I'm speaking from the male perspective, and you, the female. So naturally, they are quite different. ...

Congrads Kristin, enjoy your break. People who finished finals on tuesday or wednesday always drove me nuts, through no fault of their own. My finals always seem to come later in the week. Friends would come would be done and wanted to celibrate and I hadn't started mine yet. Enough to drive a stres...

This years christmas is an interesting one. It will be my first single christmas in a very long time which means I don't have to spend much money. It's going to be just me and my parents so I'll get them something nice and whatever my father has bought for the 57 chevy he is restoring. I'll just box...

Sorry about your bad experience, Nothingman. Did that relationship end because of it? I'll give the short answer, because after all, this is the birthday thread. But to answer the question, no. It ended because of other fundamental incapatbilities that would have lead to a bad marriage, including b...

Happy Birthday Sascha, sorry I missed it. You're a man, your stock will continue to rise long after you turn thirty, "old" is in your head. The worst case of hinting about gifts is the engagement ring. The continued hinting/badgering to get you to put something on their finger is enough to drive mos...

I fail to see how the mentioning of a traditional family unit could possibly hurt a child. If anything, I think kids from single parent households would only benefit by being more exposed to traditional home, or at least hearing about one. Kids from single parents are very likely to repeat the same ...
