Re: More DVD Questions

Since the target of 1000 has now been met, is there any more idea of when the DVDs will ship? are you going to try to wait for as many orders as possible to come in? Are the orders still 'pouring' in or are they starting to slow???

DVD on the BBC

Just to let you know that UK fans may like to check out page 579 of BBC ceefax, where there is an article about the DVD release, and very gushing it is too!. It is also currently on the ITV digital BBC text service, if you have that.

That may get a bit more interest as well with any luck.

Re: Amazon

Would it not be possible for another universe to also sell pre-orders through the amazon z-shops or something like that, as I am sure that a lot more people visit there than anotheruniverse (nothing against them, amazon are just massive). This would also then gain the dvd a link from the imdb as well.

Re: What are Lifer's watching these days?

I found a quote the other day on the bbc site where Josss Wheldon said that he wanted 'buffy' to be a cross between 'My So-Called Life' and 'X-files', so I suppose that explains why a lot of people like both??

Re: The DVD's

I think I have managed to pre-order the DVDs, with the $20 deposit, it has at least given me an order confirmation, so that must be good. As a tip, you need to search for 'My so called life' without the '-' (between so and called), the end of the confirmation did say 'mail faliure, check mail host s...

Re: Favorite Movies???

I managed to miss American Bueaty off my list, although it is amazing, sounds too much like almost famous, which is the best I suppose. I have to say that I found the Truman show a very interesting idea, but while being very well shot and written, never really got anywhere. It managed to bring up a ...

video trailer

While ambling around the internet I just found this trailer that bmg made for the MSCL box sets, which is on the blockbuster site. I have copied it to the URL below in case it gets deleted. It isn't that great, but is just interesting that they actually made it, so is worth a look if you haven't see...

Re: Quote Question

If you mean the poem I think then it goes as follows: The first time that I went there There was silence all around And your street was almost empty And the sun beat on the ground And since then I keep on going Something pulls me so I go Though I don't want you to see me I don't want you to know For...

Re: Quote Question

The full poem goes as follows: Once upon a time there lived a girl. She slept in a lovely little cottage made of gingerbread and candy. She was always asleep. One morning she woke up and the candy had mold on it. He fatehr blew her a kiss and the house fell down. She realized she was lost. She found...

Re: so-called Angels

OK, so the flower is hard to explain, maybe it was just a co-incedence. Patty and Angela both seeing the same could be the mother-daughter twist, and the angel helping find people could be just female intuition???? It sort of works?? Maybe?? Ithink so anyway. And yes she is a bit annoying, but I sti...

Re: MSCL fans in the UK

Beware of trying to copy the NTSC tapes onto PAL format VCRs. Because NTSC is a different frame rate and colour system most VCRs that offer NTSC playback on PAL TVs only produce a 'mock' pal signal, that looks fine on a TV but will not recoprd properly as VCR circuitry is far more complicated. I hav...
