Well, the JPP is my initials, because I'm too lazy to think of anything else.

The 13 is my ode to Dan Marino, the greatest QB of all time. Of course years ago, when I started posting places, I didn't realize that many people use their age as a number. Hence many thought I was 13. Which I'm not.

See, I've read Joss's interviews where he discussed why he decided to get rid of CC. I read what he said about how Cordelia's character has run its course. But that never did sit very well with me. First of all, we don't even know how Cordy is right now!!! Last we saw her, she had been abducted, giv...

He should be immediately removed from office for daring to compare the defeat of Nazi Germany with the Bush occupation of Iraq. If I was a vet I'd demand a retraction and an apology.

Do these clowns know how the rest of the world views them, and how future Americans will as well?

I don't see Angela's life being as mainstream as Patty's. She's smarter, for one. And has more of an ability to be her own person. More of an analytical thinker. Someone more destined to do something great. Long term relationships? I guess we've seen the seeds of Angela perhaps making some bad choic...

I agree that Becoming Part 2 was the best Buffy episode ever. I'd probably say The Gift was next. Though both Season 2 and 5 were filled with great episodes, and 3 not far behind. Quick topic switch. Does anyone else think that it is really weird they way that Joss is treating Charisma Carpenter? I ...

And Tom, you are again oversimplifying things by saying that Tennessee knew Gore best, and they voted against him, thats why he lost. Why don't you put that in context? Why don't you cite the history of Republican Governors and Senators in Tenn? Why don't you explain how the state has shifted right ...

I'm not afraid to say it. Most people are sheep, or worse. This site, by virtue of an intelligent TV show, attracted intelligent viewers.

Over on the sports forums I frequent, you'd think Bush cured cancer.

Lance, I think it will be. Corrected that is. I have never sensed such an undercurrent of hatred/disappointment/disillusionment in a President. Unfortunately the next president will have to deal with this mess. Yes, I know people hated Clinton. But as the far right went crazy with the sex cops, his ...

That's not true. Gore asked for a Statewide recount. "I am also prepared, if Gov. Bush prefers, to include in this recount all the counties in the entire state of Florida,'' Gore said. "I would also be willing to abide by that result and agree not to take any legal action to challenge that result.''...

I'm not sure even the most optimistic Republican believes the economy and Iraq will be tidied up in a year. We'll see. We sorta drifted away from the original topic, that being the theft of the election, but thats ok. As a general principle, no raising taxes does not spur the economy. However, none ...

I think its somewhat simplistic to say this is a business cycle. We had a tremendous shift in tax policy and spending priorities. One also can't blame the technological sector collapse. The stocks were overvalued, then they corrected themselves, no question. But if that was driving the economy thing...

Great topic. I had (and still do) a wonderful friend named Lynn. She had watched the pilot, and told me about it. I was non-plussed. She watched the second episode, and was practically begging me to watch it with her. I watched the third ep (Guns and Gossip, of course) and was blown away. I had low ...

The Clinton Wars

For a very interesting read on the Bushies character assassination of Gore and the orchestration of the election, check out the chapter "The Stolen Succession" in the book "The Clinton Wars" by Sidney Blumenthal. Its enlightening. Its scary. Some of the tidbits include the infamous urban myth about ...

Follow up : Nevada Right Wingers announced today they were going after the Governor. Is it scary enough for you yet?

That was an interesting memo from Rumsfeld. Can someone please explain to me why Bush has not been impeached?
